  1. I have a 2013 Buick LaCrosse and I've noticed that whenever the low fuel light comes on, the amount of chimes is random. I either get 2 rounds of 4 chimes, or one round of 5, 6, or 7. Is there any reason behind this that anyone knows of?
  2. This is awesome! I now know I can work at Honda as a designer because it obviously takes no talent. Nice job taking the E-Class taillamps. It's a shame.. I thought the current generation was a slight step up over the last one in terms of design, and they just through that out the window.
  3. I'll be blunt... the Regal, although a really nice car, doesn't do anything exceptional. It doesn't offer anything special. And if you're tall, like me, it's impossible to get in/out of.
  4. Crappy quality and design knockoffs... oooh, lemme run to it.
  5. Eh... not 100% sure about it. Need to see the interior. I assume this would come to the US relatively unchanged. Less horsepower, more torque... I wonder if it's lighter? A 7-speed dual clutch was a nice surprise. When is the US due to get a Verano replacement?
  6. I've heard this song. God, even my CST (Content Specialty Test) in Italian when I was becoming a teacher had a question about why Alfa Romeo pulled out from coming to the US. And that was a decade ago.
  7. Eh... I'm not a pickup guy, but I'm biased... I think truck, I think American.
  8. I love the SRX... so stylish; easily the best-looking CUV in the segment. I hope they can retain their magic. Cadillac has to get rid of the god-awful base trim level's gauges they use in so many of their cars with the half-circle speedometer. Someone said it before and it's true... looks like it's from an early 90's GM sedan (like my old Century, or the Lumina, etc.) The gauges they had before the refresh were beautiful (granted it didn't leave room for the larger LCD screen below the speedometer like now, but they could have come up with something better IMO).
  9. I love it. It's sporty, gorgeous interior, great lineup of powertrains... very competitive. I'd replace the LaCrosse with this when the lease is up.
  10. 1) Looks production ready, make it. 2) Love the look. 3) Love the interior. 4) KEEP THE NAME 5) Please do #4, I want classy names like Town Car, Continental, Park Avenue, DeVille, to return.
  11. Is this a typo? GLE350 and GLE350 4MATIC: 3.5L Turbo V6 - 305 horsepower and 273 pound-feet My car makes about those exact numbers, no turbo. Unless the 3.5 isn't DI.
  12. Well... I'm not seeing anyting making me say WOW. But I didn't expect to be wowed honestly. I'm guessing the "wow" will come with what's under the hood/sheetmetal and on the inside.
  13. This has to go down as one of the dumbest names ever. Trail'ster? And what exactly is the apostrophe supposed to be replacing?
  14. I didn't need to see it up close to say that. The interior could have been tweaked easily. Oooh, a new color! C'mon, throw in a little accent lighting, a new center stack and maybe a tiny bit more tech, and voila, a worthy two more years on an aging vehicle. The exterior I would have hoped would have gotten treated the same... a little more done to it would have been nice. I will say though that the new headlights/taillights give the car a slightly manlier/slightly more muscular look.
  15. I just don't care for the direction Lincoln has headed. I don't care for their interiors, and I really dislike their exteriors.
  16. I like it but I can't get excited about it. My friend is still pushing towards a Tesla 3... he owns a home with solar panels, so he loves the idea of never fueling up. His trips would never outrun a Tesla 3's range anyway, and he's willing to wait til 2017. He did give consideration when I mentioned the Chevy Bolt... although it's really unattractive in my opinion.
  17. The car is stunning. I drove it in my dreams and it rides beautifully. I have shown it to a few people and "wow that is simply beautiful" was the common reaction.
  18. It's beautiful... I think it'll sell like crazy. I see one problem the critics will attack--the plethora of buttons on the center console...
  19. I'm not sure how I feel... if you buy an electric car, shouldn't it be as efficient as possible? You start having people control the regenerative brake properties on the steering wheel, and you're adding a distraction.
  20. "And its name will commence a top-to-bottom redo of Cadillac’s vehicle-naming setup." This just keeps irritating me.
  21. The Sonic is considered midsize?! It has that much space?
