  1. Well... I'm not seeing anyting making me say WOW. But I didn't expect to be wowed honestly. I'm guessing the "wow" will come with what's under the hood/sheetmetal and on the inside.
  2. This has to go down as one of the dumbest names ever. Trail'ster? And what exactly is the apostrophe supposed to be replacing?
  3. I didn't need to see it up close to say that. The interior could have been tweaked easily. Oooh, a new color! C'mon, throw in a little accent lighting, a new center stack and maybe a tiny bit more tech, and voila, a worthy two more years on an aging vehicle. The exterior I would have hoped would have gotten treated the same... a little more done to it would have been nice. I will say though that the new headlights/taillights give the car a slightly manlier/slightly more muscular look.
  4. I just don't care for the direction Lincoln has headed. I don't care for their interiors, and I really dislike their exteriors.
  5. I like it but I can't get excited about it. My friend is still pushing towards a Tesla 3... he owns a home with solar panels, so he loves the idea of never fueling up. His trips would never outrun a Tesla 3's range anyway, and he's willing to wait til 2017. He did give consideration when I mentioned the Chevy Bolt... although it's really unattractive in my opinion.
  6. The car is stunning. I drove it in my dreams and it rides beautifully. I have shown it to a few people and "wow that is simply beautiful" was the common reaction.
  7. It's beautiful... I think it'll sell like crazy. I see one problem the critics will attack--the plethora of buttons on the center console...
  8. That's a really small screen inside the truck...
  9. I'm not sure how I feel... if you buy an electric car, shouldn't it be as efficient as possible? You start having people control the regenerative brake properties on the steering wheel, and you're adding a distraction.
  10. "And its name will commence a top-to-bottom redo of Cadillac’s vehicle-naming setup." This just keeps irritating me.
  11. The Sonic is considered midsize?! It has that much space?
  12. Don't forget the Gameboy Advance startup chime...
  13. I'm kinda shocked a high-end BMW would be rated with poor performance/handling.
  14. Drew, exact feelings I have. I still can't get on board with the spindle grille of all Lexi. Hate their current interiors too. I don't think they're bad, I just hate the look.
  15. You have no idea, Drew... no idea.
  16. It was VERY difficult to choose just one problem. A messy car. I'm a neat freak, but some people's utter disregard for basic vehicle maintenance drives me wild... you spill coffee in your car on a light tan upholstery in your Prius, then CLEAN IT. It's been 7 years... still there. Not knowing how to use the car's features. My dad (and I'm going to have to take a Xanax after typing this), ALWAYS puts the temperature up to high when getting in the car and notches the fan to max. In the summer, it's the opposite. I have tried to give the lesson of: "Well, when you walk into your house and you're cold, you don't turn the thermostat up to 90 until the house is warm and then turn it down, right?" It falls on deaf ears. I finally caved and explained that they can "sync" their temperature up by hitting a certain button, instead of having my dad continually press the driver's side temp to 90 or Low, and then repeating for the passenger temperature, but alas, that fell on deaf ears too. Every feature that is automatic in their car they've had me try to disable. Their mirrors don't tilt in reverse. Their reverse backup sensors are off. When they had the Lucerne, they never trusted rainsense and constantly were the car with the "Hyper Wiper" as I call it (when your wipers are on "high" and you have an occasional drizzle out.) Regular maintenance. Who needs oil changes? "I can get a little more life out of my squeaky/screechy brakes..." Yeah, I've had this conversation before. Best. Car. Evar. 2003 Camry. Friend gets into my LaCrosse and falls in love. What does she buy herself? A 2014 Camry. 6 months later... "It just doesn't excite me like my old car used to. It's boring. I almost wish I bought your car." I can't complain about how people drive because if I don't like their driving... I simply offer to drive. I don't trust many drivers anyway.
  17. Wish I could afford it... I love this car. Looks like fun but doesn't sacrifice comfort.
  18. The name is ridiculous. It has no relation to current models. Their current naming scheme is fine since they went to alphanumeric. I got their intentions with sizes... and what are they going to do with an AWD CT6... CT6-4? I don't understand how these things get approved.
  19. Yes, my issue is with Hypocrisy. These guys have recalled as much as GM has, yet there is no one crying river on it. Honda recalling airbags after 14 years? I want to see Blumenthal calling for a Congressional hearing for that and those victims' families standing holding signs saying "Honda is Bad." The bigger question... how long did Honda know about it? Honda knows about an A/C issue in all 2002 - 2007 CR-Vs, Civics, Accords, and Odyssey where the compressors grenade and the entire A/C system has to be replaced. Not being recalled... if you're out of warranty (as you most certainly are by 2014) you are SOL. My friend is STILL waiting for her 2002 Accord airbag situation to be announced by Honda. She read it in the paper, and dealers still say, after years, they received nothing about the recall.
  20. I really liked the Verano when I test drove it last year. The only problem was, being so tall, NO ONE could sit behind me. There physically wasn't enough room to get your feet out from under the front seat when I was driving. I thought the interior was awesome, but could use a tweak or two with the center stack. I'm sure that will be hammered out in the refresh since so many complained of the plethora of buttons in the LaX and Regal.
  21. I'm not digging the nose... I feel if it was pushed back a few inches, it'd be much better. I see where they're going, but I'm not a huge fan. I need to see more pictures of it before I'll make my final judgement. The rest of is isn't bad.. reminds me of the Focus.
