I do but honestly, it's the way the car drives that puts me off with the Genesis. The LaCrosse although older is smoother than my Genesis... the Gen drives sportier, which I can understand people want... I want the opposite. The Avalon, well, I guess I'd have to get the upper trims to really appreciate the interior and I was trying to keep the price down a little. I love the top interior trim of the Avalon (even if it has the center stack I'm not a fan of)

You don't think the grille is too big? And the Camry is the same V6 and I've heard the same things about its speed.

I can't get on board with the interior or exterior of the Avalon. The grille is way too big and I hate the center stack.

My Genesis lease is up in August and I've been giving great thought to my next move... purchase a CPO LaCrosse (which is most-likely what I'll do), or, and I'm ashamed to admit this... get a new Camry XLE V6.

Audi News: Audi wants to give you all the green lights
Paolino replied to Drew Dowdell's topic in Audi
Cool idea, but I can't fathom it working by me... the roads are too congested to affect things negatively. -
Yeah... my friend wasn't thrilled about that, but nonetheless, he shelled out the money, like Tesla banked on.

DRIVEN: 2017 Cadillac XT5 Luxury 3.6 AWD (preowned vehicle review)
Paolino replied to regfootball's topic in Reader Reviews
I liked the SRX more than the XT5... it's not an ugly vehicle, but it's uninspiring with a bland interior, in my opinion. The problem is, rather than building on that, they're releasing a bigger version. What's Cadillac's ultimate goal now? And if they're changing it, do we have to change the names of the vehicles yet again? -

2020 Lincoln Aviator Returns After A 13-Year Absence: Comments

I'm so unexcited about this.. granted this doesn't cater to me, but nothing at all made me think, "Wow!"- 19 replies

That's right, because Mercedes would never build a minivan... they'd make their "Sports Activity Vehicle"...

Is this even necessary... like the only thing that makes it relevant to today seems to be the EV part... but you can do that in so many other ways. It's a shame Chrysler is going to have no sedans left... hard to think of Chrysler as a "carless" company... my earliest memories of relatives vehicles were Plymouth, Chrysler, Dodge. Hell, I was taken home from the hospital in a Plymouth and burned my legs as a toddler on black vinyl seats in the summer.

Buick News: 2019 Buick Regal Avenir Is Putting On the Ritz
Paolino replied to William Maley's topic in Buick
I looked at the order guide and there are things that just boggle my mind. Avenir is supposed to be posh, no? You can't get massaging seats in the Regal Avenir... but you can on the GS. You can't get ventilated seats in the Avenir. There is only noise-canceling on Regals with AWD. It gets some safety equipment that is standard on a Yaris. -
Buick News: 2019 Buick Regal To Be Next Model Getting the Avenir Treatment

https://www.buick.com/avenir?socid=sf194625100_Buick United States_FB_Page%3A Buick_31072018 If you scroll down a little, voila, there's the Regal Avenir. I really do wish they put just a little bit more into the Avenir line. -
I actually like it... except for the front. Interior design I'm not a huge fan of, but there are elements like the wood, screens, ambient lighting, that would make me look past the design.

Lincoln News: Lincoln: We're Still Committed to Cars
Paolino replied to William Maley's topic in Lincoln
I absolutely can't get on board with the styling. The current ones are better than the 2000s, but I haven't liked its styling since the mid/late 90s depending on the model.- 43 replies

Lincoln News: Lincoln: We're Still Committed to Cars
Paolino replied to William Maley's topic in Lincoln
It boggles my mind how I once liked Lincoln more than Buick and now I could care less about their entire lineup (although the newest Navigator's interior choices made me look twice).- 43 replies

It's probably the battery--it's the original! I'm going to leave it for them to cope with--they'll be home soon and I'm insanely busy. Why this ended up in the Cadillac forum instead of the Lounge where I thought I posted it, I don't know. Thanks for the response.

So, parents are away for an extended period of time. I try to drive their 2013 LaCrosse once every week or two just to move it around. Today something odd happened... started it up, and the first things I noticed is there was no gauge sweep and the animation for the LCD screen between the tach/speedometer was out of sync with the animation on the radio's screen. I figured, no big deal. I put the car in reverse, reverse camera comes on, sensors pick up that a girl is walking past the car on her way to the bus stop, everything is normal. I back up, shift into drive, and start going along my way. About a minute into the drive, the radio screen goes black, reboots, and now is showing the startup animation. Car is driving perfectly fine. I get to work, no problem. I go to leave work, start up the car, same thing... animations are not in sync, no gauge sweep. This time the radio stayed on without restarting. I checked the numbers for the volt meter, and although it was SLIGHTLY higher than normal (it is usually mid 14's and today it was 15.2), it wasn't really showing anything alarming. Again, car feels fine. Just a fluke? Anything to be concerned about?

2019 Lexus ES Grows In Size, Adds F-Sport : Comments
Paolino replied to William Maley's topic in Lexus
There's something about the side of the car that makes me feel like I'm watching a late 90's movie and someone souped up a generic midsize sedan with a spoiler and some wheels and a big exhaust... nothing about the exterior screams premium or luxury to me. Nothing in my opinion is attractive at all. And the interior looks awful and looks like it'd be frustrating to operate. -
