    Was 80 here today...love the cool winter weather. Saw a white Volt at Starbucks this morning..the first one I've seen in the wild (saw a couple at a dealer several months ago and a wrecked one on a rollback truck back in August)...

    Last night, went to the Phoenix Symphony Orchestra for their New Year's Eve performance...so I've been listening to a lot of Strauss waltzes and such today..in a classical kind of mood, I guess...

    Was 77 and sunny here today, so for winter sightings on my walk around the 'hood earlier I saw a clean '70s era silver blue Merc 450 SL, a black Audi A5 convertible, and a gorgeous dark red '11-12 Camaro SS convertible, all with tops down...

    Some great pics there...that '67 Galaxie photo is quite intriguing..the lighting reminds me of a scene from a stalker movie..something ominous about it.

    That's what it looks like..that '75 is a sharp car.

    0-60 is but one dimension to performance....400hp is plenty enough if the balance is close to 50/50 and the weight under 3000lbs.

    Correct, but only if concentrating on using the nameplate as a qualifier. Pontiac also had the Grand Am ('73-75), and the LeMans GT ('73-75, 76-77), both variably available with 400 manuals or 455s. Chevy also had the Laguna S-3, 454 CI in '75, and 400 CI in '76. Olds certainly was not alone. Yes, there were those..I was thinking in terms of consistent use of the traditional designations--SS,GTO,442,GS. Interesting about that Le Mans GT..don't think I've ever seen one, barely heard of them.

    Showing that cab forward design was not a new idea when Chrysler did it in the '90s. So this is some kind of early Oakland? And the engine must be in the middle or back, so it's the Fiero's ancestor.

    I don't see anything out of place w/ the tailgate..is it from a different year? And is the grille missing a chunk in the top center, or that a slot to reach for the hood release? Sharp truck.

    Never been in a helicopter or small plane..if it's not a Boeing or Airbus, I probably wouldn't go up in it..though I wouldn't mind flying in a corporate jet.

    Interesting..at the beginning of the video, looks like a scale model Freestar..maybe a one off made for the video, never seen a diecast of one..

    Rebody it with crisp lines, a big egg crate grille, pointy lighting, and thus we could have the Caddy ARX Or with smoothed out sides and a horizontally split grille w/ a big bowtie, a Chevy Sonic CUV.
