  1. I think it's coming to the US as a Scion.
  2. When the '91 and up full-size SUVs rolled out. A friend of mine had an '88 GMC Suburban with a good ol' Detriot Diesel under the hood. The 6.5 turbodiesel was available in the '92-99 generation for some amount of time and on the Tahoe also according to the Book of Knowledge.
  3. GM used to make diesel Suburbans...when did they stop making them?
  4. Had HUMMER survived, maybe they would have made a Compass-like H4 compact CUV.
  5. Well, the Viper has always been a blunt instrument, not really about technology. I guess that is part of it's character.
  6. I wonder if it will have Hemi heads. A V10 Hemi would be cool.
  7. I do wish BMW's numbering scheme would be rational again...the new 328 really should be 320, since it has a 2.0L engine. The numbering is no longer rational.
  8. My Mustang's only goes to 85..been faster than that...but my Jeep's goes to 120. Wouldn't try that. I've noticed even in 6 cyl base models of some cars today the speedos go to 160..optimistic.
  9. Interesting...I wonder if they will be digital instruments that look like real instruments...not just numbers... Mercedes and Lexus have done digital instrument clusters, I think..
  10. Given that formula, maybe the problem for overweight people isn't so much the mass, but too much gravity.
  11. This is my house from Google street view. The random part is I don't know who's Jeep that is in the driveway...
  12. Interesting project idea...wheelbase would be different also, wouldn't it?
  13. square
  14. Seems to work ok for me..took a couple tries to figure out how to embed a YouTube video, but it's pretty simple once I figured it out. With the standard skin the forums look identical to another forum I frequent that uses the same software, so I have to pay attention to know if I am posting about 1:1 cars or model cars..
  15. Too small to be a Supra..this is a small 4cyl model. I like the greenhouse and rear quarters, but the front end and rear fascia are overwrought, IMO.
  16. Neat..I've never lived where there were Hess stations...but I've seen at toy shows a very cool Hess GMC motorhome from the '70s.
  17. The description left out the fact that it is a Citation II, which the '84-85 models were called.
  18. Note that he said less mass, not less weight. Interesting distinction..
  19. Got up early..see a different group of cars on the commute at 5:30 than 7:30 am. At my coffee shop there was a well-worn silver green '63 Pontiac Catalina 4dr ht..lots of dents and surface rust. Also saw a very clean white '66 Mustang coupe at an intersection, and a silver early '80s Subaru hatchback of some sort..in good shape.
  20. Alamo/National has them also..I saw a bunch in their parking area at an airport recently..
  21. Salem-King Night. Interesting video.
  22. Saw a black Suburban Hybrid this morning....I knew about the Tahoe Hybrid, didn't realize their was a Suburban version also. Saw an unusual limo yesterday evening...not a typical super stretch, but a late model black Town Car with about a 2 foot stretch between the doors. Haven't seen one like that in a late model limo.
  23. Black Country Communion-'Song of Yesterday'. Discovered this band the other day when channel surfing and came across a special from their European tour on the Palladia channel. Great stuff.... I had heard of Joe Bonamassa, but never checked out his music...wow. New fan.
  24. Sounds sweet..pricing will probably be in the ballpark of the GT500, around $50k or $65k out the door w/ dealer markup..

    300 S

I haven't seen the S or Executive in person yet...I'm interested in checking out the Executive. I had a base '12 300 rental in Cali weekend before last and really liked it. Quiet, smooth, solid and hefty feeling.
