    Yeah..when my Jeep got broken into a few years ago, I didn't even call the police or the insurance company..was easier just to get the window replaced myself.

    Yes...what the guy w/ the beard did was clearly wrong, but the Mitsu kid's reaction was so absurdly over the top... Exactly. You do not mess with a man's car. You can be damn sure if I caught someone vandalizing or breaking into my car they'd get their asses handed to them. That asshole who ran into our cars one night in a stolen car is so lucky I didn't catch him. I'd just call the police and my insurance company.....I definitely wouldn't attack them, since in AZ you have no idea who is armed or not...

    Well, CVT was supposed to be the be-all end all in terms of number of ratios, wasn't it? Maybe we will see eventually bicycle-scale ratio counts...18 and 21 speeds...

    So there is a new 2.0 T coming that is different from the current 2.0 T Ecotec? Related to the 1.4 T? i had assumed the ATS would get the same 4 that's in the Regal.

    Clean condition...reminds me of a car friends of mine used to have..they had a '91 IIRC..was an interesting light green-blue inside and out. Interesting how the radio is split into two areas, w/ so many buttons...couldn't imagine what a mess it would be to put an aftermarket radio in one of these.

    I see plenty of the toyota honda blindness first hand. Brand image is so much of it, you just can't overstate it.....usually its folks who really do treat cars like necessary evil appliances. And clearly are people who have no interest in cars. I've seen a lot of it over the years in coworkers...their friends and family drive Toyotas, Consumer Reports recommends Toyota, so they buy a Toyota...kind of the socially acceptable, no-brainer default choice...

    Still liking my Grand Cherokee after 11+ years and 135k miles. Want to get it to at least 150k. But I may buy a new daily driver in the next 18 months, depending on my work situation and geolocation.

    How is the seat adjustment range and the seat controls? Haven't been in a new Jetta, but have driven a couple previous generations and always found the seat controls to be weird...

    Maybe some kind of Corvette experimental engine? Besides the rotaries, didn't they have other experimental Corvette engines in the '60s-70s?
