  1. Gingerbread Latte (had one this morning, my seasonal favorite from SBX)
  2. Well, the cab and bed still date to the 1999 SD...the greenhouse is unchanged, it looks like. Giant macho truck. The Ram is the best looking of the current monster trucks, IMO.
  3. Interesting..doesn't seem to be accessible through the mobile site..followed the link above on my phone earlier, got the 'm.buick.com/blahblahblah' url, and the site had the current models but no future models info..
  4. Disgusting thought. I suspect the Mustang and Camaro will still be around, though. That said, it's pretty much that way now..with Panther on the way out in '11, Ford is down to one RWD model in the US (Mustang), GM down to two out side Cadillac (Camaro, Corvette), and I have doubts that the ATS/Alpha will be RWD (I suspect it will be just be a Delta II variation). Chrysler is the only one car maker left making 4000lb+ V8 RWD non lux models. Sad.
  5. Nah, they both work in suburban office parks but commute about 30 miles each way to a ranch way out in the sticks..have horses, hockey-playing kids, and hay bales. Need vehicles that weigh at least 3 tons..
  6. Somehow I think a rebadged Malibu wouldn't fly in OZ. Ford tried selling the oval '96 Taurus in OZ, it failed.
  7. Trippy.. I rarely remember my dreams, but the ones I have remembered seem to loosely follow the plot of the movie 'Duel'... alone driving in an isolated area in an underpowered car chased by big trucks..
  8. A former coworker in Denver is looking at getting an '11 F350 King Ranch Crew Cab for his next commuter car...currently he and wife have an '05 F350 Crew Cab and an '03 Expedition, both 4x4 diesels.
  9. I've never been able to get more than 25k out of front pads & rotors or 30k out of rear pads & rotors. Only have 123k.
  10. I like it, use it when appropriate to mark up or down posts. It helps to highlight high/low points of a thread. But I keep running into a limit that I can use per day + or -.
  11. Looking forward to seeing this car next month. There was an article in one of the muscle car or Mopar magazines in the last couple years about someone that built their own faithful replica of this car.
  12. Was stuck in slow moving traffic for a while this evening beside a black w/ silver stripe Ford GT w/ a BC plate. Sweet.
  13. The Amanti was a really wierd car, IMO...the headlights remind me of the late '90s Merc E-class, and the roofline looks like a scaled down Town Car in profile.
  14. Ford did it with the Mustang..5 years of the '05 style then a heavy restyle/upgrade for '10. This is similar, and even more extensive, because every panel appears to be changed.. Niche models like this aren't like high volume appliances that are redesigned every 4 years.
  15. Love those '70s boats...the coupe versions were esp. cool, IMO.
  16. Actually, it's way more than an MCE..looks like they changed every panel and the interior is all new. And, most important, it's RWD w/ a V8 available..not an effing FWD appliance for the masses. Not many affordable large RWD V8 cars left in this era of depressing, disposable FWD appliances.
  17. How about a 2011 matchup...Ford F350 Super Duty vs Fiesta...or Caddy DTS vs Chevy Spark..
  18. Ya, though I like it way it is now...very much the sleeper...people can't tell it from a regular SEL or Limited unless they know the difference..
  19. The Focus was up on a podium, couldn't sit in it or get up close, like styling overall...sat in the Elantra and Cruze, thought the Cruze seemed very well put together inside and out..seemed solid. I don't really care for the styling direction Hyundai is going, the Kias look better to me. Speaking of Hyundais, sat in the Equus...a bit overwrought and blingy inside and out, but audacious for them. The cars I kept going back to were the '11 Grand Cherokee, Wrangler Unlimited, '10 Challenger R/T 'Mopar' edition (black w/ blue stripes, black wheels), and the Taurus SHO (white w/ a sweet two tone interior w/ Alacantra seat inserts... the Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca on a podium was great also... The Chrysler 200 looked pretty good inside and out, but still too much Sebring in the doors and roof. The new Durango looked great.
  20. As far as detailing goes, I think I like the big eggcrate grille on the current model more than this new grille...
  21. Probably a few more, but they would all be retired and living in AZ or Florida.. j/k I'd love to have a new Crown Vic/Grand Marquis sized RWD equivalent from Ford, full sized w/ the new 5.0 V8 and 2011 era interior content (Sync, etc). notgonnahappen.com.
  22. I saw the '12 Focus sedan at the auto show last weekend...looks to be pretty nicely done..saw the '11 Elantra and Cruze also.
  23. Hopefully stretched and widened...the Fusion currently is pretty narrow..
  24. Meh...that's just a truck. And they have buckets up front.
  25. And the Fifth Ave wasn't even a full size, it was more of a small midsize (the M-body was derived from the F-body Aspen/Volare, which were considered compacts). Times change...bench seats and big trunks have been on the way out for a long time, with the Ford Panther models and the DTS and Lucerne being the last to have such features.
