Yes, but that's Holden styling...I think the few Americans that actually care about Pontiac styling want them more flashy and gaudy like the Grand Am was, or the current Grand Prix. I like the G8 styling, but it (and the late GTO) are the only Pontiacs in decades I've found interesting..

The Grand Prix is history after '08...it's had a 5 year run with the current design. The G8 replaces it and the Bonneville.

I can't imagine there would be much demand for a V8 in one... a V6 would make more sense...but a class-competitive interior would help the most, I think..

I think California definitely has more value to the rest of the country than the South, for example (I could do without Texas and the Bible Belt).

I saw an unusual race car today...a pickup was towing a flat bed with an orange '80s Impala/Caprice 4dr race car on it...I'm pretty sure it set up for some sort of oval track racing rather than a demo derby...not smashed up and had sponsor decals...rollcage, racing interior...unusual sight.

That regular cab/short bed Silverado has to be a rarity...I never see any like that around here, always extended and crew cabs.

About 1/2 the time now, I get a slow response and a timeout and 404 error when clicking on a forum or post in a forum on here...what's up, is the site being hosted on a 486 with a dail up or something? It's been getting worse the last week or so..

I like buffalo burgers....I've had 'em at restaurants up in the mountains (Idaho Springs, Co has a couple really good local brewpubs that serve buffalo dishes) and at the Ted's Montana Grill chain..

Maybe JT himself will buy it and park it in the hangar with his planes..

I've lived in places with negative images that were the butt of jokes (Cleveland, Colorado Springs) and places with overall positive images (Ann Arbor, Chicago, Phoenix, Denver, Florida Keys)... as long as the economy is strong and growing in a place, I don't get too hung up on the image..

I saw a silver R8 today on my lunch run... first one I've seen..saw it quickly in busy traffic...looked great... had a Philly/NJ lunch today--went for a cheesesteak, had a TastyKake for a snack, and enjoyed listening to the Boss... beautiful, sunny day here--65 degrees and some gold leaves still on trees...4 more hours in the cube, then I'm free...

I like the darker wood and the tan and red two tones (esp. the red). The sweep of the passenger side trim vaguely reminds me of the previous Jag XK (but smaller) ..the steering wheel (w/o the wood) reminds me of the 3-spoke design of my old '84 Escort... overall, I like the design, esp. the gauge cluster and center stack...for a luxury coupe/convertible, wood is a must (carbon fiber looks disgusting, IMHO, and aluminum trim would be better suited to a sports sedan/coupe).

Now if it had been the LA Times or San Jose Mercury News with a good report on the Malibu, I'd be impressed....but the Freep is the local paper to the industry..
