  1. It might have seating for 8 adults as long as all are under 5'6".... With the exception of the sunshade, you just described the Acadia and Enclave.
  2. 2010 Chevrolet Malibu LTZ Interactive Review Our latest interactive review: 2010 Chevrolet Malibu LTZ
  3. This Just In: 2010 Chevrolet Malibu LTZ V6 Just arrived today for an Interactive Review, a Malibu LTZ loaded to the gills. This Diamond White Tri-coat with two tone cocoa/cashmere leather interior, the king of the Malibu car line, even came with DVD players in the headrests. First Impressions: The steering wheel, though typical of many GM cars, looks huge in this application Very composed ride A couple of switchgear missteps that could be easily corrected Stunning looking interior at first glance, some extra cut lines, but not offensive A couple of interior trim mismatches So, what say ye? What do you want to know about this top run Malibu?
  4. Most of the old square B-body wagons and their Ford equivalents.
  5. A rather ghostly image....a hearse from a dead brand. Help me out with the year? I'm not good at my '70s Pontiacs
  6. Are you mad?! How can I go on vacation when I have 137 glasses that are half full?
  7. I am not able to calm my brain. The problem isn't seeing the glass half full or half empty..... the problem is I have 137 glasses that are half full and an eye dropper (time) to fill them with.
  8. What are the dates?
  9. I saw Shrek IV opening weekend... very much enjoyed it
  10. I think the warranty claim reverts to GM should anything happen to Spyker. That's why the sale took so long because GM wanted to be sure that Saab was staying gone and that they wouldn't have to take old warranty claims if Spyker failed.
  11. Nothing seems to help.
  12. You've been here 9 years, but this is the first time you are welcome.
  13. This. I'm still trying to figure out how to make something like this happen for me.
  14. Journey is one of the bright spots of the Dodge lineup right now. They're all over the place here. Oh yea, my neighbor up the street with the X5 and X3 traded the X3 in on a new SRX. Should I go knock on his door and argue with him about why he traded in a vehicle with the engine oriented the "proper" way for one that was in sideways?..... or should I just be happy that Cadillac made a sale at the expense of BMW?
  15. LOL @ davey
  16. I'm picturing all of this as if it were The Matrix
  17. oh.... I guess I should call off the black Suburbans then.....
  18. but the 6.2 has pushrods, so it must automatically suck....
  19. That would be a wicked one up to Ford if the fuel economy numbers remain the same.
  20. Fascinatingly wrong. I wish I could get a job at the WSJ, but I really can't come up with this level of BS. I'll pick it to shreds in a bit.
  21. Wondered how long it would take for this post to appear
  22. GM simply has more brands than Honda and that is my point. The GMC Acadia and Buick Enclave overlap both the RDX and MDX in price. You can't say they don't count just because you don't feel the Buick or GMC badge is premium enough. Buick moved 4,700 Enclaves in May and GMC moved 5,700 Acadias after 3 years on the market.... that's 10,400 people in one month who felt that $38k-$45k wasn't too much to ask for a Buick or GMC when the MDX next door was priced the same with similar equipment. If you want me to throw in Honda I can... but I was going to leave the TSX out of this fight.
  23. GM's sizes don't always match up with the pricing of the competition and Cadillac isn't GM's only luxury brand. The SRX isn't GM's only entry in this segment. They also have the Enclave and Acadia as an MDX competitors and the Escalade above that where Acura fields nothing. A large portion of the Enclaves sold are highline CXL-AWD models that sell over $40k, not $33k base ones. So while Acura sold 5,800 total crossovers last month (RDX, MDX, ZDX), GM did that much in just Acadias (5,800) then adds in another 4,700 from the Enclave, and 4,000 from SRX. And the residual increase isn't the real news. The real news is that the SRX's residual is now in line with the import competition.
  24. I think that comparison is a bit off. It may be as big as the M-class, MDX etc on the outside but it's X3, RDX, GLK on the inside and priced the same as those as well.
