  4. It will be the size of the Durango most likely.

  7. Because there is some overlap in the segment. A lot of people who buy Explorers never need the 3rd row, so a GC would be just fine. However, Jeep customers who want a 3-row have no place to go. Technically, different segments, but with so much overlap they are often counted as one.
  8. and Theresa May's second deal vote just failed in Parliament. Now its either a hard Brexit or another referendum.
  9. It would certainly work. I think Liberty could work also. The wrench in the gears is the Chinese Grand Commander which is smaller than what this GC based 3-row will be. They'd have to be okay with having the names mixed up as they cross the Pacific.
  10. no no... I misread Nascar Cafe as Nescafé, which is a type of instant coffee.
  11. It's a highly profitable segment, especially when they can build it on the truck frame. Most of the Dev work there is done.
  12. Better than the G80, yes. Not as handsome as the G90 though. The G70 is a different class and attitude.
  13. I'm not buying another piece of equipment just to have voice control. Voice control doesn't even work well enough for me to use it much.
  14. That plan also includes China... and China already gets a 3-row Cherokee called the Grand Commander. Again, the Wagoneer is the SWB full-size. The Grand Wagoneer is the LWB full-size.
  15. I know both U of Pitt and Carnegie Mellon here have a few charging spots... but not nearly enough to support a student body.
  16. Infiniti announced today that they will exit the Western European market to concentrate on their growth areas in North America and China. The company stated that regulatory challenges and competition from other premium priced cars were the main factors in its decision. There are 55 Infiniti dealerships in Western Europe. As part of the move, Infiniti is canceling the Q30 sedan and QX30 crossover which is sold in the US. Both vehicles are built in the UK at Nissan's Sunderland plant. Nissan recently announced they will not be building their X-Trail SUV in the UK. Nissan is also rumored to be cutting Leaf and Qashqai production at the Sunderland plant. This follows recent moves by Honda and potentially BMW to end automobile production in the UK in fear of a no-deal Brexit. In January, Infiniti's President Christian Meunier admitted the QX30 was a flop, but said that the model would continue on an all-Infiniti platform. The exit from Europe now puts those plans into question. Infiniti will remain in Eastern Europe, North America, and China and will electrify most of its products by 2021. 18. ^^ The only interfaces I've really like have been Volvo (great design, so-so reliability) and Chrysler uConnect (Good design, great reliability) GM's interfaces are a mess and unreliable (though the latest round is improving). Ford Sync3 is reliable, but such blah design. Tesla Model 3 lost the "recommended" rating from Consumer Reports over their interior electronics.
  19. I'm with you... I'm not sure what other features I really want or need at this point. I just want it to work well with my other devices/cars. My big thing is music... I have yet to find a music app I actually like.
  20. You're both kinda saying the same thing from different perspectives. It is the homogeneity of SUVs (the car for everyone) that makes roadsters less profitable and more likely to be cut from lineups.
  21. Isn't bragging rights what sells most Teslas anyway? Back to the original premise, 440 volts just isn't available in most residential installations anyway, so its a moot point. Better off getting Tesla roof and house battery to charge the car from.
  22. I'll take a Roadmaster Estate please...
  23. 40s here for my weekend, but clear, and back up to the 50s next week
  24. They don't even offer the VR6 in the Passat anymore, but when it left it was good for 280 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque... not bad at all.
