Well as it isn't out yet, it can't be causing a comparison on engine refinement with the ATS. The new C-Class is likely going to be the class leader for a few years, eating even the 3-series' lunch.

It's a Suzuki of some sort

glad you finally got around to switching

I'm not seeing the refinement issue with the 2.0t..... the 2.5? sure... but the 2.0T is easily more refined than the Audi's 4-banger and more powerful too. To the Mercedes, I'd say it is roughly the same (and the ATS interior easily beats the current C-Class or CLA interior anyway). I don't recall the BMW. The trouble is, the 2.0T ends up getting compared to the MB-3.5V6 because they are in the same power class (with the Cadillac still beating the Benz in power). A 4-cylinder is simply harder to make as smooth as a V6. This is likely where the refinement issue creeps up. The slight hit in refinement you might take is made up for by the improvement in fuel economy... especially since the MB is only available in 4-Matic

Some spots from my trip to Cologne Germany In addition to these below, also spotted a ~1996 Roadmaster Estate that was far to fast for me to get my camera out.

It would be a good car for Albert to run about town in. His commute is only 7 miles each way, all suburban driving. The price is certainly right.

That's an interesting mix up to make. Was out for a walk around the neighborhood tonight trying my best to fend off a possible sickness before my vacation. Spotted this:

Cadillac News: Cadillac Not Giving Up On Europe
Drew Dowdell replied to William Maley's topic in Cadillac
They already stated that Chevy is leaving europe and Opel/Vauxhall is going to be their everyman brand there. We'll get the higher trim Opel models here as Buicks. I notice that Cadillac doesn't even bother offering the V6 ATS there... only the 2.5 auto, 2.0T Auto, and 2.0t manual- 17 replies

Cadillac News: Cadillac Not Giving Up On Europe
Drew Dowdell replied to William Maley's topic in Cadillac
I think the point is that without the proper sales channels, it really doesn't matter what the product is. Luxury car buyers are not going to go to the dusty, unmarked corner of an Opel dealership to buy a luxury car.- 17 replies

Cadillac News: Cadillac Not Giving Up On Europe
Drew Dowdell replied to William Maley's topic in Cadillac
This is the closest (technically) Cadillac dealership to the place I stay in Cologne. Cologne is the 4th largest city in Germany. This is a 45 minute drive to the neighboring city of Düssledorf. Here's another one.... This isn't one of those puzzles where you have to stare at the picture for a long time to see the problem....- 17 replies

Cadillac News: Cadillac Not Giving Up On Europe
Drew Dowdell replied to William Maley's topic in Cadillac
I think before any issues with product are addressed, Cadillac needs to fix and replace the current dealership network in the EU. .... right now in Germany, if you want to buy a new Cadillac, you have to go to the back of an old Esso/Exxon station.- 17 replies
