  1. Hmm.....now that I think about it, Jesus and Dubya do have something in common......wonder what happened during the times we dont have information about, or whose records have been largely blacked out.
  2. On the other side of things, people get one one free stiff, if I dont get a tip on the first or second delivery I make to a house (could be weeks or months apart) then they aren't getting top-notch service the next time or times. I'm sorry but if you have the money to be ordering pizza (which when you think about it, isn't cheap compared to the alternatives) then you have a buck or two to give the drivers who burns his or her gas and puts the added miles on hir or her cars, and the driver (usually) has to cover the maintenance. Oil changes, brakes, tires, all that crap comes out of my pocket, and of your lazy ass doesn't realize that then you get non of your coveted parmasean cheese and crushed red pepper packets and you r driver likely wont take the "quick" route to make sure you get your food hot. As a matter of fact, the driver may very well take the "long" way which could take him or her several miles (or maybe a town or two) out of the way, and may do it with your food sitting on top of, and not inside, the delivery bag so it gets cold faster. On the flip side, if a driver knows he's going to get a tip, he'll do whatever it takes to make the customer happy. Same goes for wait staff. And yes, I'm glad I only deliver a couple of days a week now, working in the store, even as management, is sooooo much less stressful.
  3. Unbearably slow and ineffiecient with fuel. And I never thought the ride was much worse than a Cherokee, but the X seemed to have better interior space and be a bit more comfortable.
  4. I much prefer the uni-bar look of the Aura/Sky. Just a nice chrome strip with the logo over a grille. Doesn't make the fornt end look as cluttered.
  5. Thr grille doesn't seem to fit with the "new" Saturn, I guess we'll have to wait for the debut. And that power cord could be for an engine block heater? Doesn't make sense for Phoenix, but who knows.
  6. Chris, since you're such a special person, we have a really big cake on its way. Inside that cake is NOS, BV, wpbharry and Josh. If you win all four of those prizes you'll win this: A NEW CAR! Thats right, a Bugatti Veyron 16.4 includes standard equipment, smoking group and engine block heater. All yours if the Price is Right.
  7. Really, what from GM would compete with this? At least DCX provided the Cherokee in the same time frame, although those things rode far worse than I remember the Xterra riding. But GM? The Blazer? The Tracker? I'm sorry but this is one segment GM lost out on in the late 90's and will continue to lose out on until an H3 with some respectable power numbers shows up on lots for $23k. Again, congrats on the ride, other than the color(green isn't really my thing), thats how I'd want an X equipped.
  8. sNOSage it is experiment time. Get your parents into the same room, sit them down and tell them you are gay. If they say something like, "Well it looks like the last horse finally crossed the finish line" then you have a pretty good idea of what they think about you. Try it, tell us what happens.
  9. If memory serves, the Mini uses a Chrysler built engine, which brings BMW into that mix.
  10. Great choice, I loved the Xterra when it came out. I4 or V6?
  11. 68, not all sales are created equal. Do you really think Enterprise pays sticker for each Impala? Nope, just like how they dont pay sticker for each Camry. The difference is that far fewer Camrys are sold to fleets, or at huge discounts, so they make more profit overall.
  12. I saw a Merkur Scorpio the other day. Woo hoo!
  13. That Wrangler is f@#king hot! The rest are ok, but the Wrangler looks awesome in that color.
  14. Thats the hottest new car on the market. It will set sales records. They will sell 2.6 million of them in the first year of production. Or not. It looks kind of strange, but I think its a safe bet that it will sell strongly and be a great car for what it is.
  15. Holy crap, you're all completely not reading what I said. GM needs great midsizers/mainstreamers, which they currently lack. The Malibu and Impala are better than they were two years ago, but still cannot sell in close-to-Camry numbers without huge discounts or going to fleets. Volume doesn't equal profit. They need mainstream cars that aren't a notch or two below the competition, which EVERY midsize GM is selling right now is. As much as you all hate the Camry, it sells with low incentives (only recently have I seen them advertised with more than $1000 on the hood) and half of its volume doesn't go to fleets. Facts, live with them.
  16. Well, I wouldn't call being the #1 seller of fleet cars to be ultra competative.
  17. Lets see... Competative GM bread-n-Butter 4/6cyl Sedans/hatchbacks - - - -*crickets chirping* Yeah, without any real competition in this segment there is no GM to produce a pony car.
  18. The interior is a little strange, it needs something across the dashboards, its too much like Kansas, just flat and uninterrupted. Overall, this thing kills anything GM offers in the price range right now, assuming the price stays about where it is now.
  19. Ok, one comment based on the two above posts. If the body part 'blu implied were to get some sun as Chris implied, it would hurt a lot. Trust me, sunburn on the "naughty parts" hurts.
  20. The concept that became the Aerio was called the SX, could be something like that.
  21. Isn't this the opposite of what Buickman wanted?
  22. In Soviet Russia, road forks you.
  23. Ica Age was a cool movie.
