  1. In an effort to get my friend drunk the other night, therefore making it easier for me to smack her ass without getting punched, I introduced her to a drinking game I played several years ago. I popped in The Land Before Time and told her to take a shot anytime they said Littlefoot or The Great Vally. She passed out in half an hour.

    Joshypoo

  3. A job is probably the best way to go. You've got to get one eventually, better learn exactly how much they suck sooner rather than later. And with you working, I would have a chance to catch up in post count.
  4. From the windshield back the Alero vert looks like the Cavvy vert of the mid-90's.

    Avalon Pursuit?

Could I be arrested for pointing at and laughing at a cop when they pull me over in an Avalon?
  6. Your best bet would be to give up short term happiness for long term satisfaction. If you are serious about wanting a nicer car but cannot make the money aspect work out right now, put yourself in a position to get one in a few months. First thing, sell the ATV and put whatever you get for it in the bank. Do not touch that money, treat that money like it has syphillis and the plague and it sings Cher's greatest hits. Next, go get a crappy job. Lets be real you're 16 or 17 (dont remember exactly) you're not going to get a great job. Go do the burger flipping thing or the supermarket stock boy thing or the Wal-Mart cart pusher thing fo a few months and put that money with the Cher singing plague-infected ATV money, only use what you absolutely must, you know for gas, whatever. Yeah, crappy jobs suck, but look at it like this: you are getting paid to be somplace instead of sitting around at home, a side benefit would be that if you ever have another minor depression episode, you'll have co-workers who are far worse off than you are, great way to put life into perspective. So with the job you've got an extra $500ish/month on top of the $3000 you got for the ATV, do that for a while, shop around and when you find the car that is *PERFECT* the car that you wont be tired of in 6 months, sell the GA and spring on it. Patience sucks ass, but in the long run its worth it.
  7. I'd recommend a MAXX, easier to sleep in than any of the other ones, and in the end isn't that the most important factor in buying a car?
  8. I know one proposal on a ballot around here won 7-0. Yes, seven people voted and they all voted yes. Seriously, not making this up, all the votes were counted. There was also a 26-25 squeaker in another small town. Gotta love living in the middle of nowhere.
  9. Yeah I know, right. God I wish I were a ditzy blonde.
  10. Says Mr. My-Camaro-has-a-Series III-3800 :P :CG_all:
  11. I'm not going to lie, I use it mroe often than I should. Back in high school I had a friend who constantly said, "Yeah, I know, right" in any context imaginable. I picked that up from her, I used to say it a lot, recently I've slowed down, I'm not gonna lie.
  12. Didn't Jay-Z retire then put out a frekaing album? This "pop-rap" stuff is really annoying. Em was ok the first time I heard all of his stuff, but then he kept releasing albums that seemed like rehashes. The same songs with a little twist, different beat or whatever. Its stupid. 50, Kanye, all the other crap you hear on the radio or see on MTV is just fluff bullshit. I'm with Nick on having a newfound respect for some of the older stuff, before rap became mainstream and the douchebag down the street thought be was the sh!t for sitting in his car ll night listening to D12.

    Wow..

*Mullet Flaps* Mullet Power! Mullet Out
  14. I saw a 2003ish Pathfinder wiht very large chrome wheels. Looking closer, the center caps on the large chrome wheels had an Infinity logo. Nice. Across the street from that was an MG that looked like crap. Also, I saw a Ford GT, a 1997ish 911 Turbo, a 550 Maranello and a new Viper coupe, which looks a lot like the old Viper coupe, especially when they are parked right next to each other.
  15. Scion xA: James Bond Edition
  16. Dude, my sources tell me that the Monte Carlo name is going to be dropped for 2007 and that the current Monte will get the Camaro name and slightly redesigned taillights. Or not.

    A third car?

What Fly really wants is a Daewoo Nubira.
  18. The Z4 2.5 weighs about a hundred pounds more than the SOL, the SLK whatever with a manual weights about 300 pounds more, the Boxster weighs a little less. All roadsters serve one of two purposes; they are either there for the driver to be seen in or they are there for the driver to drive aggresively. Weight kills handling, which is a much more important part of driving than 0-60 times.
  19. I saw one at the dealership tonight. Not good looking.
  20. There is absolutely no reason for the Solstice weigh less than 200 pounds less than my Saturn L200. It'll still sell, I'll never deny that, but as long as the numbers go in the MX-5's favor, I cannot call the Solstice the better car. numbers dont lie.

    Alcohol

I have a shitload of Smirnoff and Hard Lemonade in my mini-fridge. I buy stuff that doesn't taste like alcohol to chase tequila with. We went to a couple of bars last night, but one of my friends isn't 21 and the waitresses decided to card. So we got some Jose and one of my friends got trashed. On the brigh side, I got to drive her home, so we took the back way which is really hilly, and her Rodeo is really bouncy, she almost puked. Good times.
  22. Ketterings campus is nothing great to look at, Michigan's campus is far nicer, although nothing compared to Washington University or Mizzou, the two nicest ones here in MO. But Kettering is very worth going to, even though it is in the ghetto.
  23. Thats where I am now after going into college unprepared for what was ahead of me, so my grades weren't where they should have been. The straw the broke the camels back, so to speak, was when I failed Ethics, it dropped my GPA just enough to be put on academic probation, things spiraled downwards from there. Now that I'm older, wiser, I'm having no problem with handling the school I am at, and will be far more capable when I get back into a 4-year school. I really think the community college route is good because it provides a transition between the high school world and the college world.
  24. Any competative school is going to look at GPA. My ACT score would have gotten me into any school I wanted if it weren't for that barely sub-3.00. My GPA also cost me a scholarship or two. So yeah, GPA usually matters. You may want to actually look into that while you still have a little time left in high school.
