    Having a drummer that can keep time actually helps. Lars should practise, he's Metallica's weak spot in live performances. James' voice is sounding a lot better from what I've heard of the current tour.

    I've been sending CVs left and right for more than a month now... got only 1 interview that didn' go anywhere... to top things off, talk in town is that cutbacks at the mine will not only hit contractors but Somincor contract workers too... guess who's on a temp-to-permanent position.....

    Merci! I was at the Museum but not the plant. They're in oppsite sides of Trollhättan and I couldn't make it into one of the groups that went for the plant tour. Too bad, as I think I'll never have the chance to see it now that the proverbial poop has hit the fan.........

    Opel wanted to be preimum (a concept that is met with laughs in most if not all of Europe) and with Daewoo and then Chevrolet growing in volume, the only way they had to go was to try and move upmarket. Saab was put in a very difficult position because of this and because the geniuses in Detroit thought they could establish Cadillac globally by selling the CTS as a 3-series competitor. It got squashed between these 2 brands that have greater weight in GM's internal politics.
