Rumorpile: Lincoln MKC to Become Corsair

Cool..an old Edsel model name.  Capri would have been good also, since that was a Lincoln name previously.   I wonder if the MKZ is going to get renamed Zephyr or it it toast since they are axing the Fusion for the US? 

Hopefully they are more successful with Corsair than GM was.

I don't recall GM ever using that name.

They didn't (in the US) other than this :

IF GM had produced these, I'd SO own one right now!

I like the real names, and Corsair sounds good but reminded me of Corvair, which sucked.  

Ohhhhh now how about some name like ‘Dauntless’ as well.

Maybe they could bring back Mariner.  Then you have a land, air and sea approach with Navigator, Aviator, and Mariner.

They already have Nautilus. 

It makes the CUV sound a lot more distinguished and upscale. Very exciting times for Lincoln.
