Gas Prices Jump

Featured Replies

I haven't seen any news articles yet, but overnight gas prices jumped anywhere from .10 to .20 overnight in my area.

What's the cause this time? The Israel / Gaza war?

That's about all I can think of... I got gas for $1.49 3-4 days ago, it's $1.89 now.

Yeah. I went from $1.53 at Safeway, with club card, to about $1.76.

surely the russia eastern blocks are doing sometihng to the price

I noticed it earlier today. The Citgo that the wife goes to often is up to $1.69, a jump of maybe 19 cents.

It's thought that Israel is gearing up to attack Iran before Obama takes office.

You got it...and it's not going down again.

There is going to be a bloody war very soon......

I'm guessing 3 bucks plus by spring........

F*** Israel, F*** the entire middle east.

The whole lot of them are ignorant

eye-for-an-eye proponents of bloodshed.

I say we pull out of there altogether and

let them kill each other over a dry crappy

piece of real estate the size of Vermont.

The Muslim Arabs are sadly, at least in

large numbers, backwrds religious fanatics

who defy both logic, reason & civilization.

As far as Israel, it's an artificially created

country in the midst of religious nutcases

who are convinced they also, are entitled

to the same land. In the end, I can not

side with either.

Both kill women & children in the name of

religion, God & a supposed higher-power

claim to a barren wasteland... <_<

Hedge Funds are getting back into the market. Hedge funds and Investment Banks where the one's who drove the price of oil up in the first place , then people want there money out of the market , hedge funds had to sell(which drove the price down).

The CEOs need bigger bonuses. They were really hurting last year, you know.

I agree with you eleventy-billion percent and then some. Seems like there is a song where the lyrics go something like "Burn MotherF*****, Mother****** Burn, the roof is one fire..."

This is exactly how I feel about the middle east. We have gone out of our way for 30 or 40 years trying to bring a peace settlement. The sooner the Dead Sea becomes a thermonuclear sea of glass, the better.

We need alternative fules now...I am tired of sending 700 billion a year to the saudi's.
