  1. yes, the "ancients" were vastly ahead of of us 2000 years ago... and your 2000years is over doing it, it's more like from the fall of the R empire to the enlightenment whish was about 1000 years. but that's like still holding a grudge that your father holds because you grandfather holds one from his father...and so on. or at least hating japanese, italians and germans for WW2 i think you don't know 2 main ideas the church stands for, freedom and responsibility. that is the opposite of GWB and just what our constitution is about. ( i'm not saying the US's constitution is a religiously founded paper. )
  2. is this really going to be an 09 or will the '10 my be bringing tons of new and "new" stuff?
  3. i thought it was more jetta/cts/ridgeline "goodness" ..... from the side it looks like it has potential, then the front does look horrible, and the rear.
  4. i see the history in the concept, but also alot of ferrari similarities.
  5. this was from the Pope at the White House today. any comments about it?
  6. +1 and a base 200hp 2.4L 6 speed maybe?
  7. -1 dugg down for innacurate.
  8. happy birthday!
  9. I think i may have a lot of you beat, i got pics of a 50's or early 60's DeSoto...can't upload now, at school but i'll do that later tonight. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DeSoto_Fireflite must be a 57 i guess.
  10. the g5 loses the 2.4L? hm. getting ready for DII?
  11. I think Dsupr is trying to say....he plans on retiring before he's 80 (if that's possible the way the $ is going)... even a v6 f-body or mustang he'd prolly like filling up more than the 'price. it's not a matter of not liking the car for what it is, it's a time bomb to him, all the while the fuse is him spending more $$ on gas than he'd like too. am I wrong? 68---I'm guessing his views about CO2 emissions are not in his reasons to get rid of this car. so stop complaining about something that is a nonissue in this thread. lol This is what i was planning on posting last night, but the internet was down...
  12. i could maybe make the St louis meet...?
  13. hopefully that comes in '10 for kappa, at least. whether it's for the 2.2 or 2.4 i don't think it'd matter much if a turbo 1.4L comes standard for the deltas
  14. was going to say pontiac, but 'is no indian
  15. the time spent doing this must only match how much ascii pron is out there.....a lot. lol i've seen it before
  16. where? then i live just down the road. evidently the new sink hole capital of the area, Cape Girardeau, MO going on 20 since this year...? biggest "city" between st louis and memphis.
  17. a friend of mine bought a S model 1 year ago, i've not riden in it....but she's closer to 5'4 so i don't know.
  18. with the exchange rate as it is.. i'm slightly surprised it's not closer to us prices
  19. the 3.9 gives me a slight hope they'll keep 1 CIB v6...but with economies of scale, it's a very, very small chance they'll do something with the 3.5 or 3.9 before they all get replaced by the 3.6 or 2.4
  20. Av is 6speed only? cool
  21. what's the difference of the VVT 6.2 and the regular 6.2...as in, why would they get rid of a "better" engine? ...moving it to the H2?
  22. dang... i was about to post this. lol the 3.8 is OUT!!!!...of the lucerne. hopefully any kinks have been worked out from the ~3 years in the impy....
  23. it is a collectivist idea that "black" and "african american" puts you in a group that you may or maynot "belong to". it's a trait you have, but shouldn't define you. American does put you into a group too, but one you can't pick out based on a visual que.
  24. wow... using E85 will prolly take it's mpg down to supercar range... barely break 10+ when hummer get's the 4.5L TD then we might be impressed...? eh, the only H2's i see seem to be city-fied. and one is ridiculous with art on it and a "quad exhaust", only on one side. so it goes.
