Cadillac News: Rumorpile: GM To Build Cadillac XT4 In Kansas City
It seems to me that the large FWD sedans are getting killed by CUV sales, and midsize FWD sedans are also taking a hit thanks mostly to smaller CUVs. The only thing that will truly resurrect sedan sales is $4-$5 gasoline again. Just remember 2008-09 gas prices, which led to the near-death of the truck-based SUV.

Quick Drive: 2017 Cadillac ATS Coupe 2.0T Luxury
I wonder if Cadillac will address the issues listed here with the 2018 model, if not with the successor of the ATS.

Used SRX or New XT5
Sounds like the SRX would not have Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. So I guess either one is an XT5 exclusive.

Used SRX or New XT5
What exactly are the differences between a 2017-18 XT5 and a 2014-16 SRX? Given current prices on the latest model SRXes, I am not sure is I would like to purchase the lastest and supposedly greatest XT5. Any advice is welcome.

GM News: GM Still Sees Drivers A Key Part of Their Business Model
I would like to see the current driver-involved model to stay. Yet I am concerned that sooner or later that will be replaced with car-sharing and the like. For some reason or another, insurance companies will want to end the driver-involved model once and for all, just to save several million dollars. SAD!!

GM News: PSA Demanding Roughly 50% Refund From GM for Opel Purchase
PSA IS NOT THAT SMART. Blaming others before finding fault within yourself is what failures and cowards do. PSA needs to replace diesel ASAP and tend to Opel/Vauxhall rather than sue GM for a refund that they clearly do not deserve. Successful managers find a way to succeed regardless of circumstance rather than refight battles that they already lost. OR PSA can simply dissolve all operations and return the net proceeds to shareholders. Your move, PSA.

GM News: PSA Demanding Roughly 50% Refund From GM for Opel Purchase
A refund? nope. There are no refunds in massive sales of entire divisions like this. I doubt that GM is that cunning in deceiving PSA like this.

Would you buy an Envision or an SRX?
Sure, Cadillac does need a Lambda-sized 3-row crossover since a lot of the luxury marques are going into that market now. Bring on the XT7.

Tesla Has Been Burning Through $8,000 Per Minute
Elon Musk's mistake with Tesla is simple and mundane: his vision's reach exceeded his production grasp. If he only started small (one model) and worked on that for about 7-10 years, then Tesla would actually turn a profit and generate cash flow. But that would be way too sensible. He wanted it all and wanted it yesterday. When Jeff Bezos started Amazon, he did one thing: sell books online. We know where Amazon is now. If only Musk's ego told him to start really small and then grow organically.

What is wrong with the Envision being built in China? Without China, Buick would have gone the way of Oldsmobile.
