  1. Glad to hear it all got fixed for you. Fuel is always a pricing item. Hope this is the last of your issues with the auto. Smooth sailing from here.
  2. Your Good Camino, First one is the 1973 XP-898 and the second one is the XT-2.
  3. Midori
  4. Very Cool Ocn, I love it when you can get 500+ Miles on a tank.
  5. My expectation is for the ATS coupe to be quite conservative: more of an A4-to-A5 roofline change than something radical. A CTS coupe (or an Omega-based Eldorado) should be where the styling envelope is pushed in a more dramatic way, IMHO. I agree, keep the ATS a bit conservative and go after the bulk sales just like BMW has done with the 3 series and then let the CTS family be radical. After all for those spending north of 60-70K they tend to like to stand out more.
  6. I agree that the EN0 - "ENGINE - NONE" is too funny! Found more good info on the Spark EV. 2014 Chevrolet Spark EV – high tech electric city car priced below $25,000.http://media.gm.com/media/us/en/chevrolet/vehicles/spark-ev/2014.html Have to say for a luxury Golf Cart for Inner City commuting I can see this selling in the right congested cities. So Ocn does that mean when you order one up you have to select the No Engine Option and then Select the Motor option?
  7. agreed Hyperv6 it will never be an Impala and I agree with you on the 3 door Astra, very sexy little car. I think they can use paint jobs to create some impressive visual looks even though it is on a more blob like design.
  8. Interesting idea to have the 4 door coupe but I wonder if it really will help them or not. I think the SUV will help more than the car.
  9. True it does not look like it has a stick up it's butt.
  10. wow, that is very interesting, Wonder why they do not have a filler hose going into the tank just like the gas tank. That would have made more sense. Just open the trunk, take off the tight seal cap and pour your piss into the tank. Wonder if you can use your own personal Urea?????
  11. Hyperv6 while the canvas might be smaller it does not mean the style cannot be just as big as life. I think some folks take the easy way out and blame it on the smaller canvas rather than figuring out how to do more with less. I believe you can be creative and through the use of certain body lines and paint styles make a small car like this look very sharp. It just takes some time to properly work out the details on this small canvas.
  12. Nice write up. seems to be a solid little commuter car for 1 or 2 people.
  13. This makes perfect sense as Volvo tends to compete more with Buick, Lexus, Infiniti, Acura and such than MB and BMW. I do not see Volvo as a high end luxury car builder. Clearly not in line with their DNA.
  14. Yes, this does make it more exciting. Thanks for posting the pic.
  15. Thinking long term, take a Diesel cruze and convert it to CNG, this way cheap CNG with only 10% use of Diesel and you get awesome low cost fueling. Course you can take and normal car and convert it to CNG and then have cheap fueling. ROI on cost is about 1 1/2 to 3 years depending on how many miles you drive. Biggest savings around if you keep a auto long term.
  16. H'mmm I can see a balanced sales approach in having a fastback style and a traditional 4 door sedan. Not really a big deal for the bulk of the planets people who cannot afford such luxury. I thought China owned Jaguar? So I can see them changing to their tasts at the expense of the rest of the world.
  17. Have Track, Will Travel!
  18. Very cool, did you have to pay much out of pocket or all covered under warranty?
  19. So there is NO SPARE on this car? I see no problem with the DEF tank in the trunk, I would have thought they would have had a access fill spot in the trunk but one that does not keep you from holding packages, etc. Still not a deal breaker for me. Interesting if there is no spare.
  20. thedriver I have not seen any info about having to give up the spare tire for the def tank and that it is only in the trunk so it has to be empty to refill which really is not a big deal considering you only do this every 25K miles or so. Plus who drives around with a full trunk all the time eating up gas mileage? History NOTE! A fact Rudolf Diesel developed his engine to run on American produced peanut oil. Those farmers in Georgia will be extremely pleased if GM announced that this Cruze can run with their peanut oil. It will be American fueled! Any way, Car and Driver sure seems to be negative on the little oil burner. http://www.caranddriver.com/news/2014-chevrolet-cruze-diesel-photos-and-info-news Interesting to see that Chevy web site has it listed as starting from $24,995 and the first GM news announcements stated $25,995. http://media.gm.com/media/us/en/gm/news.detail.html/content/Pages/news/us/en/2013/Apr/0418-cruze-turbo.html Interesting that other online folks have a price from $25K to 26K for base starting price but does seem to be positive for the Oil Burner. http://www.autotrader.com/research/article/car-news/206830/2014-chevrolet-cruze-diesel-rated-at-46-mpg-highway.jsp http://www.autoblog.com/2013/04/18/2014-chevrolet-cruze-diesel-gets-46-mpg/ http://gm-volt.com/2013/04/23/46-mpg-for-cruze-diesel/
  21. Did you not get the English pop up windows that translated the japan talk to English? Mine showed them and it was funny.
  22. They were a cool car for the time. In comparison to other chryslers at that time, it was a small car, now I think it is what they call a large car with 2 doors.
  23. If you go used hybrid then buy the 5yr bumper to bumper warranty and have them replace the battery pack considering a used Hybrid with 50K miles will have a good chunk of the battery life used up.
  24. I agree with ZL-1 that the lights will be more CTS Wagon than the ugly Trans Sport. Plus with the use of LED lights now, you can do some pretty cool things. Looking forward to it, but if the interior seating does not gain room, deal breaker for me.
  25. So on first glance it clearly is a jelly bean blob and weird paint job, but then that is probably what they want to hide it's true style till it comes out next year as a 2015 model. You can see when looking at the big pictures that they have given some attitude to the front end with the headlights and hood so I am thinking while it will be a jelly bean shape over all, it will have more defined lines than most people expect. What is weird is that little tail pipe sticking so far out and then flared. Weird.
