  1. Ramps. But it's the only way I'll get it down to Florida.Front of front tire to middle of rear tire is 76.5" Yeah ramps still just suck getting a bike into the bed of a truck. We used ramps to get my Daytona into the bed of a Silverado when I picked it up and it just always seems sketchy. Why not drive it down to Florida?!?! Well it sounds like it will fit with a little maneuvering it around if you put the front wheel in one of the corners, but the tailgate will have to be down. Wouldn't I put it along the center line of the truck? Why not drive it down? I"m a new rider and don't want to be on the bike for 1,200 miles. I want to stay down there for 2 or 3 weeks at a time, and being only on a motorcycle wouldn't work. I found Bikes Corner to Corner work out very well in truck beds. Load it up say on the left side of the tail gate and wheel it into the passenger right corner and strap it down. For short beds that always worked best for me.
  2. WOW, until I looked at the upper left corner and saw the Chevy Logo, I thought they were showing off a Mazda. That long ass nose and over all body shape reminds me of a Mazda CX3.
  3. Very cool, here is hoping for the best for them.
  4. I consider this to be another of Honda's recent failures. They have done Hybrid multiple times and always missed what the public wanted, they brought this back and again ignored what the public wanted. Honda seems to be living in the past and not paying attention to the future of what everyone is wanting or doing. Sad, cute little car, but just not what the public wanted from day one.
  5. WOW, You really now NOTHING about Electric Motors. They OUT TORQUE Diesels and are far better economy, Diesel had their day and yet in places where electrical is still rare, 3rd world countries, diesel is king, but in modern places, electric is way better. Yes Diesels out Torque regular Petro, but like Petro they have to rev up to produce and give that Torque. Electric is 100% from zero and just keep going till it tops out. Enjoy your Diesel days now as they will be over soon and you can thank VW for that!
  6. Lovely bike Drew! Motoplex by my house sells Yamaha, Indian, BMW bikes and has a great selection of used also. Here is their used listing, http://www.motoplex.net/s/search/inventory/availability/In%20Stock/usage/Used/type/Street%20Bikes/type/Cruiser~~V-Twin/sort/best-match Here is their listing of Indian, You might like the black Dark Horse bike. http://www.northsoundindianmotorcycle.net/s/search/inventory/ Over all, I have to say I like the selection of bikes at Motoplex. http://www.motoplex.net/index.htm Those prices on the few that I'm fairly knowledgeable seem outrageous. 7k for a 2007 GSXR1000 w/ 19,200 miles on it.. Just sounds high to me. When it was brand new in 2007 it was probably only like 12k back then. Then a 2013 CBR250 with 12,200 miles for 4k... a brand spankin new CBR300F is 4k and a CBR300R is 4,400. Oh and a new CBR250R is only 4200 They may be high compared to your market, Here in Washington with one of the highest more educated work forces and an average income over 85K a year, prices do run higher here. That I know. Why looking and shopping around is very important.
  7. Awesome Olds, Enjoy your freedom and stage 2 of life!

  9. Totally understandable, more and more people have been turned off from diesel in cars. Trucks they are fine with but for cars, Hybrid / EV is the way to go. I suspect over the next 24 months we will see a proliferation of the Hybrid / EVs with performance equal to or beating diesel.
  10. Drew, I also forgot about Motus, An American Bike Builder that used to build Corvette Racers and they took the V8, cut it in half and now produce a Pushrod V4 1650CC Liquid cooled bad ass ride! They have a great comfort ride position. Motus MSTR Motus MST Motus Corvette based V4 Pushrod Engine
  11. Have to say in playing with the configurator, I am really liking the Magnum X-1 Stealth Edition bike also.
  12. Drew, that is a sweet bike. I used to ride till I got married and had kids. Wife gave me a choice of her or the bike. I retired the bike. Miss it, but am happy with all the other fun toys that have replaced it especially my waverunners. I have always liked the Yamaha bikes, I checked out and rode the following that is a blast: Empulse TT 10,400 watt hour EV Bike. I also like the Hammer S
  13. the blue is sharp, i really like the rain forest green too but if had the cash and nothing better to do with it id go for the midnight edition 2500 hd This midnight HD does make this Chevy one Bad Ass looking Ride!
  14. Nissan is going to want to address this ASAP. Otherwise their investment could just go up in smoke.
  15. Citroen Cruise Crosser Dartz Kombat T98 SUV Dartz Prombron Black Shark Knight XV
  16. That is good to know Drew as my sister is wanting to get one of these. This is what we are going to go look at tomorrow it looks like.
  17. I would just go with AWD, sucky to have this be FWD but I know it will sell still.
  18. This.. Absolutely This. The CTS-V and the Escalade possess a great deal of what would make a helluva sales romp happen over at Cadillac IF.. GM would just realize that the OHV V8 should be in everything they make in one form or another.. only exception maybe being the XT5.. and even that should get a TTV6 with minimum 400HP asap. This also reinforces why Cadillac needs to do a V edition of the Escalade. I would take a fully loaded ESV Platinum V edition now. Would love to have my escalade as is with that extra supercharged power! At this point.. just for profits and novelty. I could see a 550HP Escalade. 640HP in an Escalade would have GM on trial for MANSLAUGHTER weekly.. guaranteed. I see no problem with keeping the engine as is all 640 lovely ponies in the Escalade. Other high end SUVs have this kind of power and are not on trial, just saying.
  19. Finally have them on the lots here in Seattle. Going to check out a Purple one with the black with purple accent interior tonight.

  21. This was cut during editing as I couldn't find a spot to for this to fit in, but I think it describes my feelings on both vehicles. "To put it you this way: If I was going to do the Moab trail, I would pick the Wrangler because I know it will get me there and back. As for getting to Moab, that would be handled by the Grand Cherokee." That is a perfect ending IMHO! I would totally agree with you. Have the Grand Cherokee pulling a trailer with the Rubicon Wrangler on the back. Leave the Grand Cherokee at the trailhead with Trailer and go play for the weekend in the wrangler. Nice job Bill!
  22. Love the write up and the comparisons, ending wise, the Grand Jeep Cherokee is a great auto, but is too refined for those of us that like to play in the outdoors. Wrangler it is!
  23. OK, true, globally, but then I checked out what Volvo stated and was honestly surprised. Here is their actual numbers: https://www.volvoclub.org.uk/press/releases/2009/2008sales.shtml In 2007 they had a record year producing and selling a total of 458,323 total auto's produced globally. The S80 made up a global sale of 42,527 so then that would make this a multi-billion dollar sales auto. But I would have to think this is still slim in comparison to other product lines. They clearly are not as big as GM or Toyota.
