  1. -1 on your comments as I have to totally disagree. I loved the first generation and second of the Acadia, but always thought is was a weird child that did not really fit in with the rest. Yes some loved the weirdness and might not stay with the third generation but this auto is sexy in a professional way and I believe continue to do well for GMC. I myself think the inside and outside is an outstanding change for the model and will bring in more people to the fold.
  2. Pontiac is dead, so lets leave that in the history books. The Avista is a luxury step up for those wanting more than the Camaro offers. I can totally see a luxury version of the Camero in the Buick Lineup as well as the Avenir as their modern take on a Park Avenue but 21st century sexiness.
  3. Nice looking truck, I question the long life of the twin turbo V6. Leaf springs on the back still? One would think they would have gone to a much more independent suspension at each wheel.
  4. Balthazar, I would also look at the Trailblazer EXT or Chevrolet Ventura. http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/Used+Cars/Chevrolet/TrailBlazer+EXT/Mountlake+Terrace+WA-98043?endYear=2017&firstRecord=0&listingType=used&listingTypes=used,certified&makeCode1=CHEV&maxMileage=100000&mmt=%5BCHEV%5BTRAILBZEXT%5B%5D%5D%5B%5D%5D&modelCode1=TRAILBZEXT&searchRadius=0&showcaseListingId=419275867&showcaseOwnerId=563264&sortBy=derivedpriceASC&startYear=1981&Log=0 Amazing how many deals can be found on Trailblazer EXT with less than 100K miles all under 8K cost.
  5. Disagree with you. The new Acadia is very sharp looking and I think they adjusted it to fit into the proper mid size segment. Plus with all the new technology and the ways to loose weight while giving more room inside, I do not think this will hurt sales of the Acadia. Really sharp looking ride.
  6. Love this, and I do not think the shrinking in size will hurt GM or the sales of the Acadia. This is a lovely looking CUV!
  7. So here is a side by side comparison of the same shot. Concept in Blue and production in White. Can the color really make that big of a difference? I will say that the subtle changes like where the hood opens up makes a noticeable difference and I do NOT like the door handles on the production unit.
  8. Love the interior, the exterior just leaves me wanting. Not sure what it is about this or maybe it is the white paint but I am left wanting.
  9. While looking clean, the cost to buy replacement parts as things fail will negate the low cost of the station wagon.
  10. AWD Truck is interesting, I do not think anyone else has ever offered a truck with AWD. Plenty of 4x4 but not AWD. Pathetic is the V6 engine. So much wasted horsepower with pathetic Torque. Over all not impressed with the looks or the rest of the truck for that matter. Continuation of Dull Bland Styling. WTF, Blah Truck and they get CAR OF THE YEAR? HONDA has failed on all fronts and the stupid press continues to think they are gods walking on water. I do not see this selling much at all except for an initial bump to the existing Ridgeline customers who want the same blah trucks.
  11. Interesting, but glad you guys covered what you did and did not waste time on these.
  12. Should not be a problem, I suspect this will sell very well here.
  13. Wouldn't it be more Cherokee..? Yes, this is Cherokee sized wow, the photo makes it look smaller than the Cherokee. Cool info, Thanks
  14. Simply Lovely, Not a fan of the interior color, but in a mocha brown it would be awesome. Love it overall. Very excited for this model. Smart to do the AWD for a short 2016 run and then also bring in the FWD model.
  15. Bummer, RIP Nauti, All the best to you and your family Moltie.
  16. Why do I see this as a model that would compete with Mini and Fiat500L but not to forget the Jeep Renegade.
  17. Cool HP numbers, but the look has left me not impressed.
  18. Home Run Hit, the exterior is as sexy as the interior.
  19. Nice looking Minivan, I see clues to the shape of the old CUV Pacifica. Disagree with their Marketing who changed names. They had history that was solid for leading the way with minivans. If they think they can get more CUV buyers to go to the minivan by changing names they are wrong and it is a failure for the name. Interior is nice but does not look as well made as the Honda or Hyundai minivan. The seats look thin which I know is the new trend but also very uncomfortable. I do not see any comfort there for a road trip. Over all like the outside design and fluid flow but the interior is only a B rating.
  20. YAWH,,,,,,,,,,, Same model look for the last 15 years, can you say DATED! I knew you could. Interior is nice, hate the light, white interiors though as it shows all the dirt and marks and is just a mess over the long haul if you are not OCD about cleaning. Love the dark brown accent. Dash looks the same as all other models now. My gut tells me MB is hurting for money and playing clam shell games of accounting to hide the real facts as they have a huge assortments of autos that all look the same inside and especially outside with a dated look. Kinda reminds me of the mid 80's cadillac approach to shell games just before they imploded and went cheap.
  21. Slimy foods
  22. The range does not make it one of the best Luxury sedans, but it does make it one of the best compact eco cars competing with the Cruze diesel. They are in the same boat.
  23. Mercedes-Benz is not just a luxury car maker, they gave up that title when they created their cheaper lines to compete against Chevy and started to sell vans and other work and commercial related autos on the same lot as their lofty S Series as well as the rest. You cannot just be a luxury maker when you have the Sprinter vans sitting only feet away.
  24. Interesting observation on the tires: BMW i3 - 19 x 5 155/70 all season low resistance tires. MB B Class EV - 17 x 7.5 225/45R17 All season Extended Mobility tires. Chevy Bolt - It appears based on looking at pictures that the size is very much like MB. Chevy and MB seem to have gone with a realistic tire in comparison to BMW.
