I would LOVE to own both actually. That Ferrari just screams exotic Italian awesomeness even by today's standards when today's Toyota Camry's spank it in almost every performance metric! But yeah, one needs deep pockets to maintain it. Deeper than buying a new Ferrari even!

I too want Tesla to stick around. My partner's Model S is problem free so far, he had a couple of recalls, but my wife's Fusion is on 3 going on 4 recalls so....that is not a problem for Ford, why would a recall be viewed as a problem for Tesla? Therefore, when my 2012 Acura's time is up in 4-5-6-7 years time, a Model 3 is what Im looking at!

Yeah...I agree with what you are saying about Cadillac so Ill just modify my stance on the issue. Cadillac, the way they do their lights would just about be the only brand Id like to keep on seeing the heritage alive. And Chrysler to some degree. But the 300 is on its way out anyway...

Although I love cars of the 1950s and the fin itself, I feel its a styling element that really should stay in that time era. It was a different time then. Flight and the jet age were still in its infancy...even though flight was 50 years old and the rocket age was upon us then, flight still seemed like it was a new thing....partly because commercial flights and intercontinental flights were still a new thing... Flying was still romantic... Then there is the whole teenager revolution thing where teens cruise in cars to drive-In theatres and roller skating waitresses serve us hamburgers to our cars listening to Chuck Berry and Buddy Holly! I did say cruise....not text and use the GPS to tell us how to get there... We are very far away from that world. I dont think fins it they came back will have that same effect and feeling so it best stay in the past so we dont ruin that nostalgia!

My grandparents and my mom came from a so called socialist country...Greece, to come to another socialist country...Canada. yet...no hand-outs were made to my family either...neither from Greece nor from Canada... That would be 4 generations now... Nope...nobody paid for my dad's education in socialist Canada. Nobody paid for mine nor my wife's education in Canada. We all paid for it by ourselves. My parents had money saved up for me...but my wife had poorer parents than mine so she had to work part time jobs... My kids...well. Im setting money aside for them. I have a healthy amount right now for them!!!\ The thing is...in socialist Canada...there are savings programs for education... The Canadian guvment gives me a dollar for every dollar I put into an education fund!!! The thing is...the USA offers that same deal... Yes Hyper...even in your capitalistic America...there are SOCIAL programs for the GREATER GOOD of YOUR people! Unless of course you want to abolish all that and go back to how it was... Law of the jungle? THAT is what you want to go back to? Because THAT is what your post suggests! We all have opinions dude! We are all entitled to them! But...when I talk to people...and my points get brushed under a rug to have YOUR points be front and center like its some sort of golden rule...then it ceases to be about respect! All that in your post... ALL JIBBERISH AND BULLSHYTE! It aint even an opinion or fact or an opinion based on fact! You have abusers in all kinds of political ideologies... I remember Cragar SS mags everywhere from 1974/1975/1976 Pontiac Trans Ams to 1971-1974 Plymouth Satellite/Roadrunners to 1968-1969 Chevrolet Camaros/Pontiac Firebirds to Chevy Vans And they were all jacked up like in those pics! I guess, any which way you look at it, the more things change the more they stay the same. All the crazy things young guys and gals do to their rides... Stance is everything though. And depending what you want your project car to be, its all good. If I was doing a tuner Civic, then that Civic above is where Id wanna be.. If I was doing a 1950s or 1960s American Cruiser, then a slight rake but with ample ground clearance in the front like Balthy's example is where Id be. A resto-mod pro touring 1970 Olds 442 would be level and low to the ground (not too low, but in today's standards for perfect handling and braking low) But, Id also love to do a 1970s themed muscle car and it be jacked in the back, baby!!!!

^^^ jacked up rear ends...and I guess its the image of a Civic rather than a muscle car. This one made me chuckle...and admired at the same time. Its a lost art to see cars this way. I prefer jacked up rear ends rather than super low or hellaflush...
