  1. Why keep a dying segment? Isn't GM getting cars as well? They're keeping the Camaro and Malibu and the $h!ty twins. It's only a matter of time before the micro cars are gone, too.
  2. Per your Mercedes excuse, two of their most important SUVs are just beginning to hit lots or not quiet yet. Escape & Explorer.
  3. 7.2%, is what I see. 2.2% year to year.
  4. I don't know, more than 52,000 GLCs have been sold year to date. I wouldn't say people only want the GLE.
  5. 100%.
  6. These have me interested just because I've never looked them up.. The largest 6500XD has a 5.2L turbo diesel, 215hp/520lb-ft., standard and it's available on most other models as well. Their ole reliable 6.0L rated at 297hp/372lb-ft. Then they have an inline-four 3.0L diesel made by Isuzu rated at 150hp/282lb-ft. It's crazy how different a real work truck engine is made compared to our "street" engines.
  7. Ahhhh I guess I could have just googled that.. ? Low Cab Forward, I was really confused what that even meant and I knew it wasn't just three random letters.
  8. I know 200,000 units isn't the 300,000+ of when it first came out but there is something very wrong about not being able to profit(or enough profit) to justify a 150,000-200,000 units per year product.
  9. Are those pairs on the same "skateboard" ?
  10. What are S and X combined?
  11. Just add 3 to the total number.
  12. Very good, up 6.3%. what is the "LCF"?
  13. It's still crazy to me that they're getting rid of the Fusion with those numbers.
  14. I have no clue why I would have also stated the GLC.
  15. -0.5% on the year, not bad considering there are a lot doing much worse.
  16. I wonder what KBB says a '57 Chevy is worth...
  17. Hahaha thanks. I'm not sure if my car will allow me to drive with the parking brake engaged because it's electronic.. Well, at least not partially engaged. I still don't think I would get as bad of fuel economy as that thing, especially considering it drinks 91 octane.
  18. Not soon enough. I mean I understand they need quality workers and they need to be paid a fair wage and their total compensation should correlate to how successful the business is run.. but all of those criteria are already met. They should only really negotiate a larger percentage bonus for when GM is doing really well. They're making enough money hourly/yearly before their bonuses. If they increase everybody's wage you risk crippling the business and them moving the jobs all together because not every year is going to be booming like the last few. There will be down times and keeping wages more "in check" they can afford to keep people on board.
  19. Yeah, fck the UAW. GM shouldn't be paying anything right now and they could point the finger right at the UAW for refusing to work out a deal and how that's harming their members.
  20. It isn't about what one owns. It's more in how a vehicle and brand is defended and excused of flaws.
  21. I see as many riced out Mazda 6's as I do Impalas/Malibus/Fusions/Camrys/Legacies/Optimas/Accords(post 90's). You may not be a fanboy but "heavily leaning".
  22. So, kind of like...KBB...
  23. It's worth what people pay for them. If people pay 40k for them, that's their value.
  24. Well, insurance companies have to replace a vehicle and if everything being sold is X dollars, then it doesn't matter what KBB is stating because they have to give enough to replace the vehicle. That, in-turn, makes KBB wrong in those cases. You can also look at cars like 03-04 Cobras and KBB is well off what everybody is asking and buying them for. WS6 Trans Ams and LS1 SS Camaros are other examples. They're not going to give you X thousand less than asking prices just because some people negotiate lower pries.
