Congrats! Good to know somebody else here recently turned 60.
-
I got CLS vibes from it.. but as things ove forward that large coupe-like sedan blends in with "true" sedans anyway.
-
It only took 10 years(by the time this power train is actually produced and sold) for somebody to catch up to Tesla.. It looks like concept garbage that nothing on the exterior or interior will make to to production. The only thing news-worthy here is the EV technology.

I get that, I've done that before. I don't/won't understand leaving them on the desk and not throwing them away though...
-
My desk isn't spotless but I can't let it get cluttered with useless stuff like THE PREVIOUS DAY(S) CALENDAR DATES!
-
The clutter around that desk gives me anxiety.
-
That's one of their two available wheel designs.. The second design is available in two sizes, 19" and 20".

At least over at Toyota you can get your Rav4 with off-roady goodness or with a hybrid powertrain.
-
Now who's the troll...
-
You don't know why they are in the area. They could be perfectly convenient for them to charge up 45 minutes while eating or shopping.
-
"Isn't in the spirit" sounds like a way to just be grumpy about it. It's there. It's paid for. There is no reason not to use them, as long as it's still convenient to the user. Once it isn't convenient, I see no point in it. It doesn't really matter when it costs at home. If Tesla didn't package their supercharger network into the price of their cars...I would get it more. It is there to facilitate long distance traveling but all of the ones you see Teslas hoarded around are ones "around town".
-
You make it sound like they didn't already pay for the service up front... While annoying, I get it. They paid for that. Why pay two times for charging?

Even worse.. 10 years newer and it has a smaller battery, less range, and weighs more.- 39 replies

Good point.. The Taycan is a whole 0.3in shorter and 0.1in wider. Maybe they should have sacrificed the 0.3in for more range.- 39 replies

Shouldn't a car 10 years newer be the most advanced tech and not behind the 10 year old car?- 39 replies

Isn't this also much more expensive than a Model S along with much less range? Those are two pretty big disadvantages of the Taycan.- 39 replies

At least it can be bought in lower trims such as the Sport.

Is a diesel engine not perfect for the Wrangler's natural habitat, off-roading?

Alternative Fuels & Propulsion RANDOM
ccap41 replied to G. David Felt's topic in Electric Vehicles and Alternative Fuels
Taycan is here. It looks "pretty good", imo. I do fear for Tesla as Porsche is a giant or at least has giant money and I think this will eat into Tesla pretty hard unless Tesla has heavy updates coming soon to the Model S. I have to believe the quality control over at Porsche will have them in a much better position than Tesla. https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a28899036/2020-porsche-taycan-photos-info/
