  1. It seems pretty accurate to me. Especially having the US truck brands in the most loyal customers. The car/cuv owners might not be but the truck buyers alone probably force them in that list. The least loyal list seems pretty logical as well. The "crapier" brands tend to have people come and go more often than re-buy another Fiat 500. Volvo surprises me on that list as they seem to have a pretty fantastic lineup right now but being on the bottom of the list is "okay". Chevy Silverado, Ram 1500.. surprise surprise..
  2. You're getting pretty specific there and I would wager those rides are a much smaller percentage than 1 or 2 people. It isn't actually small. It just isn't van-large.
  3. This exact example(I read through the forum page) is a 70 year old man and his wife so I believe it was done for ease of getting in and out of the vehicle for the two of them. Yep, the Ranger just doesn't look very good outside of like one trim and it gives off a tall and skinny vibe.
  4. I can't imagine it is that difficult to lower them 2 inches. They don't need to be slammed or anything, just a more athletic stance. This is dropped 3" front and 4" back. The owner said the caster is the only alighment item that wasn't to spec but it was "very close". I think 2"-3" would be doable from the factory without issue, but this isn't coming from a Colorado engineer.
  5. Banks will let you finance anything these days if they think they can make money off you! lol I love this so much! ?? I'm just impressed it can regen enough on its way down that it doesn't need to recharge, ever. Now this is the perfect use of the current EV technology on the industrial level.
  6. For our bud @dfelt https://cleantechnica.com/2019/08/20/this-ev-is-huge-bright-green-never-needs-recharging/amp/
  7. I'd be okay with a robo-car picking me up and dropping me off places. I bet an NSX has lower operating costs than a CLA45.
  8. It's still a Mercedes. It will never beat a Honda on operating costs no matter what powers either vehicle. The Bolt has already been out for a few years.
  9. It'll probably be like the FX4 Expedition where they get tires, off-road tuned shocks, skid plates, and a locking rear diff with a low range transfer case(if it doesn't already have it).
  10. That could be said about any luxury branded vehicle ever...
  11. MSRP to MSRP probably not but I bet they discount them a good amount.
  12. Nice eye on the Classic part. I definitely missed that line. That's surprising to me.
  13. Yeah, it's probably just unnecessarily expensive to certify and do all of that jazz for something they're trying to sell cheap.
  14. They don't have to go nuts with the Syclone but give it a little more power, lower it a bit, and give it some bigger/wider wheels and tires and that would probably be good enough. It doesn't have to be a crazy 450hp truck. If they used the 2.7T they have in-house, they could give it a mild tune and make something like 350hp/400tq and be good.
  15. Why a version of this wasn't out when the ZR2 came out, blows my mind. What I would do with these twins is; Colorado would get the street treatment(Syclone would be an appropriate name) and it would be a little hot rod and the Canyon would get the off road treatment and make it the ZR2(name it whatever you want). You get two high-margin trucks and they wouldn't compete with each other for sales.
  16. "Classic" is a different truck and most likely why it wasn't listed here. I doubt it will get the diesel. I have as well. Personally, I find it funny. I don't care if somebody does it to me as well. Don't take internet things overly serious.
  17. I assume he was a collector with those numbers.
  18. Well, if you think about the cast that would be put at the bottom of the system.. yes. You don't need an arsenal of firearms to defend yourself or family. You also don't need 100% pushback to defend your "cast".
  19. I think the mass amount of firearms in the US will not allow an official "cast system".
  20. As long as you're not looking for a quick flip, it doesn't matter too much.
  21. Prepare for the worst and if it doesn't happen you were at least afloat and have "extra" cash.
  22. Summer 2007... Not the greatest sign of things to come. Get ready to invest when things bottom out!
  23. What was that?
  24. What else is in the auto pipeline that'll be pumping out 1200hp and weighing 2,600-2,800lbs? There is one thing for sure, I don't think it would be irrelevant even in 2 years. People are still talking about the McLaren F1 20 years later... even though it's been surpassed with technology long ago. I would agree if it was only ICE but with it being a full plug-in hybrid with all of that technology, I can't see it being irrelevant in 2 years or even 5 years. Unless there are skunkworks programs from other major automakers, this will still be 1 of 1 in it's "segment". Personally, I am not a fan of the whole stripped out full blown race car made street legal. It just doesn't suit my driving style or "needs". I think a true GT car would be best for me if money wasn't an issue but this thing will rip, if they get everything sorted out.
  25. I don't think it is dead at all and that's kind of odd to say it's dead while they just stated they're still working on it... Also to say it is old tech..? Huh?
