  1. Have you ever driven anything right-hand drive?
  2. I've driven both and there is absolutely no way it takes the same level of skill to drive an auto as a manual. I actually didn't think I would ever see the day where somebody would actually say that it takes the same amount of skill to flip a paddle as it does to bang through gears in a manual transmission.
  3. From what I thought I remembered it was priced the same as the 6.2 and the 6.2 is only offered in the LTZ trim(and up) with 4WD meaning $50,040. I don't know what that means for the lower trims, if it's available or not.
  4. Bull. Sh!t. Not even comparable.
  5. I have to say if this was offered in a full EV or plug-in hybrid sales would go through the roof ditching the ancient dirty gasoline.
  6. To each their own. I find it completely irrelevant and that's okay. You find it relevant and that's okay. There it is. It's CHEAPER.
  7. Because it's another hack-job-aftermarket-company-EV- job done to the previous generation. Irrelevant because it is never going to happen. Any, literally ANY, car can be sent to a specialized company and have them throw in electric motors and batteries. Is it cool if I found an article on a 2013 Ford Escape where some company took the engine out and plopped batteries in and put an electric motor, or four, in it? Irrelevant, right? There are hundreds of examples like that, aftermarket electric companies swapping engines and fuel tanks for batteries and motor(s). If somebody did that to the new C8, that's a story and a pretty fun story at that. An no, I never got a boner over that EV Mustang. I'd, personally, never want a muscle car that lacks a V8. Dfelt and I have talked about it before. It isn't a Ford VS Chevy thing. it is an EV vs every single thread thing.
  8. Find'em. Yeah, completely irrelevant that an aftermarket company turned the last gen into an EV.
  9. X4 and X6, please. That is insane they are talking of axing the vehicle that is what, 6 months old? There's one in my town and it's beautiful(coupe). ..3 Series GT is equally as hideous and awkward as the X4 and X6.. Good thing that is on its way out.
  10. I mean, you're not wrong. Find a thread where he's posted in that doesn't have one comment about EV/hybrids. Betcha can't. No, his was a picture of an EV C7.
  11. I've thought this as well.. Smaller, lighter, smaller diesel... The transmission difference has shown to not make THAT large of a difference. 4WD: 19/28/22 (city/highway/comb) 2WD: 20/30/23 Compared to the Silverado's 3.0 4WD: 23/29/25 2WD: 23/33/27
  12. Can Nissan go, as a whole? Please.
  13. I mean Ford has the Mustang and GT and Chevy has the Camaro and Corvette.. But who's counting? And Caddy has or will have CT variants that are sports cars.
  14. 175 mile range probably turns into 70 when you're driving something like that the way it was intended to be driven.
  15. GM definitely did the right thing in pricing the diesel engine not the highest priced engine by a couple grand like Ford and Ram did.
  16. Yes and no.. The price of this is still significantly more than a mid-sizer. I think about the cheapest this can be had is about 43k(39k LT package + 3890) for 4WD or 40k for 2WD. A Colorado with the 3.6, LT trim, 4WD is 32K, 2WD is $28,400 so there is still a pretty significant price difference between the two that ~10k in fuel savings will roughly take..never years to pay off. FYI, I did extended cab configurations for both to find the cheapest builds. FWIW, LT, crew cab(because it isn't available in extended cab), Colorado, 4WD and 2.8 Duramax is 39k. I definitely think it just kicked the 2.8 to the curb. I don't see that selling for sh!t once these are on dealer lots.

    Next car...

What's the price point here? Would an E Class fit in there? I guess if an XTS doesn't an E Class wouldn't either.
  18. Single mothers would still miss them.
  19. Those numbers are simply amazing for a full-size truck. Hell, those would be great for a mid-size truck. There haven't been test for this yet, have there? I hope it isn't as slow as the Ram. I don't think it would be as it's more powerful on a much lighter truck. If it's a 15.5 second 1/4 mile truck(or better), that would be freakin' great. 16.0 is about the bare minimum, imo.
  20. We are no longer in an era of "a" car though. There are too many. Those past eras had those listed cars as completely stand-above-the-rest cars. Now there are 10 hyper-car-level-performance. And FWIW, collectors' perspective is total sh!t. Drive your cars. I know it was odd that Ford made people apply for their GTs but I love that they wanted their stuff driven and not just rolled into an underground garage and parked for the rest of the owners's life. Seeing people park cars with under 10 miles on them is infuriating as somebody who loves to drive and will likely never have the opportunity to drive anything special like what people park.
  21. Still more profits than Diamler... ? I didn't know they sold retail. I thought they were a rental car company, exclusively.
  22. It isn't like F40's and 959's were ever driven much either though so that's kind of moot. I'd disagree on the styling. The list I wrote out all look pretty unique. I don't think you could really see them all lines up and have no clue what brand was what. The two most similar, imo, are the Koenigseggs and SSCs. I feel like the rest are all pretty unique.
  23. I don't think it should be canceled. It is an awesome halo car. As long as they're planning for all of the costs and the market decline, it's no biggie. Spend a billion and 5 years on it. Although, if I'm being honest, the hyper car thing has lost my interest once the first batch was replaced in only a couple short years. The 918, LaFerrari, and P1 were epic and amazing in about every way imaginable...then they were replaced not too many years later because technology is changing that fast. We went from F40 and 959 in the late 80's to the F1, F40, XJ220, Diablo, EB110, and now there are probably triple that that are in the hyper car game with Koenigsegg, Bugattis, 720S, One:1, SSC's, Enzo, Ford GT's, Paganis, SuperFast, etc... There are just so many out there that they no longer seem that special to me.
  24. The video was taken down...
