  1. Roughly 10% of all Mercedes sold are AMGs. Sounds like a pretty impressive number.
  2. Hahaha, it's okay. It's difficult to read sarcasm through words without tone. I don't notice brand new stuff too often but I do see plenty of older Altimas. They seem like a dime a dozen. A buddy of mine recently bought a Rogue... I tried to convince him to get ANY other CUV in that class but they got him by selling it for dirt cheap. Ohhh well..
  3. Yeah, If their marketing is accurate(who knows about that...) it's the most adjustable seat available if you get the 30-way seat. I sat in one last week and it felt great but I can't imagine how long it would take me to dial that seat in to perfection. I could see myself having to tweak that for a month or two before really finding the sweet spot with that many adjustments.
  4. It isn't a mid size version. It is classified as a full-size car. There is no way it is cramped inside for anybody that isn't a freak. Yeah, it isn't a truck. But you'll be disappointed in 99% of cars if you are expecting that kind of air space in a car, about the only vehicles you'll be satisfied in are S Classes, Rolls Royces, and Bentleys.
  5. I mean I was being a huge smartass but they do seem to have killer deals all the time, probably because they need to to sell them.
  6. Do you drive through the ghetto or trailer parks? Or rental lots. Half of those are rentals and the other half are cheapo pieces of sh!t sold for nothing so they go to the "less fortunate".
  7. They've consistently been selling a lot less than GM for many many years. The last two years were each roughly 500,000 units.
  8. The interior space isn't terrible, in any way. I don't think I've read a single professional review saying it was cramped in any way. "Rear-seat occupants enjoy the full limousine treatment with an elevated seating height, indulgent legroom, and a headliner contoured to accommodate the lankiest tycoon."
  9. Tacoma doesn't give a sh!t about the GM twins.
  10. Yeah my local Ford dealer had a massive remodel a year or two ago. I think it was summer 2016.
  11. My friend who works at a Ford dealership said they can get you any Lincoln but they don't keep any in stock. That much be how they get to that insane 3000+ dealerships for Lincoln. I only know of a couple in my area. There definitely isn't a Lincoln logo on the side of my local Ford dealership...or any Lincolns on the lot.
  12. The best part about that is I would wager the production version would look even better.
  13. Compact hatchback you say? currently Volvo makes extremely pretty cars + hatchback + EV... Color me extremely intrigued.
  14. UH OHHHH @ocnblu!! Hybrid and EV sales are on a rise!
  15. Do you know how many dealerships the German brands have for comparison?
  16. Welcome from the St. Louis area!
  17. I have no clue the numbers but what do the other luxury brands have for dealerships?
  18. That Camaro is just bad-ass. Isn't attractive, but its performance speaks for itself.
  19. How is that a problem for Acura? Acura has an ILX that is CLA sized. I'm not sure what you're saying here...
  20. This could and I think will be game changing for them. This is what all of Lincoln and Cadillac need to do(obviously there are some already but the rest need to be stand alone as well).
  21. The bottom feeder Mercedes isn't starting at 50k like the CLA45 is. That's well into C Class territory and only 2 grand from E Class territory. I don't think that's an accurate way to word the CLA45 as a bottom feeder at 50k. The CLA250 is THE bottom feeder. CLA may dominate on a race track but it's tiny and cramped so it's give and take on what the buyer wants.
  22. The T-Tops in my budd's '97 Z/28 had a spot in the back to store them. I assume the Vette was the same. Targa top is another story and that's a good point that you can't just walk out to your car in parking lot on a nice day and decide to take the targa top out. They just look sooooo much better than a convertible when "not in use".
  23. I, too, love t-tops! T-tops and targa tops are way cooler to me than a convertible.
  24. There aren't hybrid CUVs that get 46mpg(or even 38 by the ratings and AWD) on the highway. I think they both have their place in the market and hybrids are superior in town and in stop and go traffic but if your commute is 35 miles of interstate the diesel will outperform it. Niro is the closest and if I'm not wrong it is considerably smaller than an Equinox or Rav4, the latter which is available with a hybrid rated at 34city/30highway.
