2021 regulations on spending money should REALLY shake things up. I'm really looking forward to a much more level playing field as it should be a much more competitive field. It'll be interesting to see how some of these young, great drivers fair when they actually get a car that's competitive. You're not wrong though. 2021 should be interesting as there will be an imposed spending limit and it should level out the field so the small teams can actually afford to put out a competitive car. I mean, there are two separate organizations.. Just let them both do their own thing.

I know the intent there but what are the parents supposed to do? Not all parents are working from home or have a job that they can not be there, Police, doctors/nurses. There will be kids who aren't getting fed, the families who rely on the public school system for meals, and kids with no parental supervision.

Under the cargo floor? That's in a ton of vehicles. Maybe GM did the first but it certainly isn't exclusive to them. -

I don't think hidden compartments are a copy of anybody... -
Yes, that's why there is the professional he's speaking to. Rogan isn't the one attempting to speak factual about a topic he doesn't know.
-
I'm not the one making the clickbait headlines... Rogan isn't an actor. Well, I guess he's acted before but he definitely isn't know AS an actor. Denounce what you'd like to denounce..

It's a good listen, right? It's good to hear the information stated in a conversation back and forth rather than some news outlet speaking TO us. It just feels more genuine and like I can believe it more. I know it shouldn't make a difference, but it makes it all feel more real as news outlets purposefully go for "clicks" or "views" with dramatic statements or headlines.
-
For those of you who care, a true professional on the subject. There are other ways to just listen to the podcast but if you're on a computer, it's a good listen in the background.

Shooooooot, Linocln has higher ATPs than Mercedes... I honestly never would have guessed.

Alternative Fuels & Propulsion RANDOM

There's probably a reason there aren't many car sales under 20k, because it's difficult to price something that low with all of the regulatory costs(and the obvious engineering/testing costs). I can't imagine they could fit 150 miles worth of range in a vehicle and be able to price it under 20k...yet. They all used to have a cheap-o vehicle but the margins on those vehicles are so tight that a sales dip(people transitioning to SUVs) can greatly effect the bottom line. -
The top comes off, HE MIGHT FIT! ?
-
The "custom" locking lug nut seems like a brilliant idea but what happens when Joe Jabroni loses his key? Bring the vehicle in and they pull the VIN and order a new one and you get it in 7 weeks...for $200?

Do you want to get rid of all the unprofitable companies? -
Sure they would. They never detuned the Camaro ZL1 from the Z06. The only reason the CTS-V has a slight drop in power is packaging. I don't think they'd have any issue with a Cadillac branded vehicle being quicker, especially because we're talking straight-line only and a Vette would still walk it in corners and braking where the EV's weight would kill it. That's going to happen when you make a mirror image of a 3 Series...

If SUV still had the rear opening glass as a common feature, I don't think there would be any need for these but virtually none of them do and you can still throw lumber in the bed of a min truck that you can't really do in most SUVs.
-
Well it sounds like Ford already is building one... Honda could heavily modify the Civic platform to accommodate a small bed and weight with a bit of towing capacity.
-
I bet the D3 would remain almost flat +/- 2%. It only took a $100 refundable deposit to "order" a Cybertruck. And no, there isn't a solid number of truck buyers in the market, especially when you add in a slowly growing EV market. The number clearly jumps around every year with variables changing every year. What happens when the F150 and Silverado EVs come out first? Isn't it like 3 years out at this point? I don't think judging it's alleged speed/acceleration is too accurate. For all we know, it'll actually run 0-60 in 2.5 seconds with a 600 mile range. We just don't know. It's too far out there.

What seems more "pure" about that then say a Wrangler or upcoming Bronco? Wouldn't that be about the same size? Or maybe I'm thinking 1st gen Ranger. I forgot it got "decent" sized before it was killed.
-
Mini truck? Like an old Ranger-sized vehicle?

Yep, luckily their dollar-buying-power can't be put where their mouth is. -
I've never eaten at Big Boy's or any of those franchises... Not because I don't want to, just never had an opportunity.

They have the tools now. Look at the ZR2. They just don't build anything with that kind of technology. The ZR2 is up there with the best factory off-roaders. They don't "need" another brand to do so, just apply the same strategy they did with the ZR2 to an SUV, the half-ton twins, and/or the HD. It gives me a lifted Panamera vibe. I've always thought that was an awkwardly shaped vehicle but plenty of people like them. -

Did you click the link and read it though? I guess it seemed to cover it pretty well there..
