  1. It only took 12 hours to fix that train pileup. Also, I've said it here and I'll say it again for clarity. The idea of unions is absolutely wonderful! They were put in place to protect the worker and for fair pay. They were completely necessary when they were originally established and probably decades after, as well. Today, however, they are garbage, corrupt, and don't make working hard beneficial.
  2. "The end result is the quickest SUV we've ever tested. In 0-60 mph tests, the Urus smokes both the Tesla Model X and Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 S fastback, accelerating to 60 mph in just 3.0 seconds and running the quarter mile in 11.3 seconds at 120.1 mph. And, thanks to pizza-pie-sized carbon ceramic brakes and lightweight aluminum bodywork (despite its size, the Urus weighs just 4,931 pounds—believe it or not, that's pretty light for its class), the Lamborghini can stop from 60 to 0 mph in just 107 feet. That chassis, despite being the progeny of Audi, helps the Urus handle as a Lamborghini should, too. Aided by a hyper-responsive air suspension system and four-wheel steering, the Urus pulls 1.01 g average on the skidpad and laps the figure eight in 23.5 seconds at 0.87 g. To put the latter number into context, that's quicker than an Aston Martin Vantage (24.0 seconds at 0.83 g), a Porsche Panamera Turbo Sport Turismo (23.8 seconds at 0.85 g), and a BMW M5 (23.7 seconds at 0.84 g), and it ties the last Audi R8 V10+ we tested (23.5 seconds at 0.90 g). "
  3. Those big-ole body on frame SUVs dwarf the GLS and X7.
  4. Yeah, that's true. The very southern part of the state is pretty but 95% of the rest is flat and boring. Oh that's East St. Louis for ya and it's actually super sketchy over there. About the only safe-ish place is the Casino..lol
  5. Exactly, I can't imagine the time and money spent testing the Ford 1.6T that ended up having all sorts of issues. Oh, and the Powerstroke 6.0. I've owned a Mercedes and currently have one in the household.
  6. Everything gets torture tested for hundreds of thousands of miles and things still happen.
  7. I haven't seen anything from him on Facebook either.
  8. A couple years ago I test drove an Elantra GT just for the $40 Amazon card. it was a pretty nice car and if I were in the market for a small hatch, I would have seriously considered it.
  9. I mean, that is the most inefficient moment in a cars' life, 0-5mph.
  10. THINK ABOUT HEARING THEM!
  11. You may have passed about 1/2 mile from me, if I was at my parents' house. Their subdivision somewhat backs up to the interstate. On a clear and calm night you can hear the semis.
  12. Hands down, correct. Southern IL has zero scenery.
  13. It's hard to understand how I wasn't supposed to know you didn't have Samsung speakers from this. I read "subwoofers" and skipped right over and clicked the link... But, in my defense, when I clicked the link and searched through their site I only saw subwoofers and no surround speakers. I still cannot find speakers... WHERE IZ THEY?!
  14. Huh..? You don't enjoy a good sound system? Today's TVs have the worst sound. They just don't have the room TVs used to to be able to put quality speakers in them.
  15. Illinois is a little closer to you than Washington! Hahaha
  16. How can you have a kickass subwoofer and receiver with Samsung speakers?!?
  17. I know we're fairly off topic at this point but I recently got my home theater setup up and running. Receiver: Denon AVR-X1300W https://www.crutchfield.com/p_033AVX1300/Denon-AVR-X1300W.html Rear speakers: Polk RC80i https://www.crutchfield.com/p_107RC80I/Polk-Audio-RC80i.html Front left and right speakers: Polk RC85i https://www.crutchfield.com/p_107RC85I/Polk-Audio-RC85i.html?tp=192 Center channel: Polk S35 https://www.crutchfield.com/p_107SIGS35/Polk-Audio-Signature-S35-Washed-Black-Walnut.html?tp=189 Sub: Polk PSW505 https://www.crutchfield.com/S-vh4pjN537wW/p_107PSW505/Polk-Audio-PSW505.html
  18. I would never choose a company like Samsung for home theater speakers. Choose a real speaker/audio company. Tell them to buy the charger for the laptop and you won't have to worry about charging speed. You have a real home theater setup.
  19. @daves87rs Renegades can be had pretty damn cheap...even new. These are all automatics, FYI.
  20. Compass and Renegade start at $22,095 and $22,275. That's hardly "near 30k".
  21. That might be the first long-term Galaxy that I've heard a positive review of. Typically, they're great out of the box and garbage 12 months later. The only thing Samsung I will consider is their TVs. I won't even consider anything else they make.
  22. HD is much worse, IMO. You mean a 2020 Camaro and emergency refresh it? Well, their sales fell behind Ram for the first time in...EVER.
  23. Almost every truck looks better than the Silverado.. Okay, not the Cyber Truck but everything else does.
  24. $2,000 for something that was extremely fragile and a piece of junk...
