  1. We used to have one of these, however I only ever saw it as a rusty pile in the driveway when I was little Actually in total we had 3 at one point or another. My mom loved them.
  2. I love Candy Apple Red...photos don't do the color justice.
  3. So Thursday 68 called me up and asked me if I wanted to go to Kimball's, it was the 2nd last one of the season. Since I've only been to one car show this year and it was tiny I gladly went. I'd only been to Kimball's once and it had been "canceled" due to bad weather that never happened, so there were only a few cars. This time was much different. I took lots of photos, so you've been warned!
  4. A shame perhaps, but considering what they can do with the small block V8 (ZR1 anybody?) They don't need a V12.
  5. Today the plan is to replace a few more bulbs, swap the door panels out, swap the lock cylinders out, and give all of the cars a thorough cleaning inside and out. Oh and align my door and hopefully get the yellow marking off of it.
  6. Yesterday the mechanic was supposed to have gotten done with the car, we wanted him to do some work for us, but after sitting for 3 days nothing was done, he swore he'd do it Monday, it was next it line. I know he's busy and he is good too us, but 3 days, grr... Whatever though, we took the day to do some work to the car. After who knows how many years of the lifter struts to the hatch being worn out and so the hatch wouldn't stay up, we bought a set of new ones and put them in. We also replaced the nasty hood liner which was coming apart with one we got from the junkyard...not perfect but 100% better than what was there. We also changed some bulbs and put brand new Bosch Platinum +4 spark plugs in it, a full take of premium and some Marvel's Mystery Oil in the tank. The car's never had it so good! The plugs make a BIG difference, the car starts much better (first crank instead of 3-4 cranks) and runs more smoothly).
  7. Yeah, I've heard a great way to upgrade a Shadow is to get a wrecked Shebly Datona or even better a Shebly Shadow, since with teh Shadows you can do some nice upgrades of the suspension on the cheap. The 2.5 N/As aren't bad though, they make pretty good torch for the era/weight of the car. There was a "Duster" version of the Sundance, it was what V6 models were badged.
  8. Hey Ted, did you use anything special to clean up the engine bay with?

  10. Cool. I think white stripes would work better on the blue car. Better contrast.
  11. Well naturally, I would buy a Viper first, because I have always loved them. A black ACR would be incredible. But the GTR, like the ZR1, is an amazing car you could faitly comfortably live with daily. That being said I have always loved the fearsomeness about the Viper. very few cars make you rely on your own skill to weild them, and reward you so much for your efforts. It also is an axe murder, ready to kill foolish victims.
  12. It doesn't help that the professors at universities are becoming increasingly incompitent. Of all of the professors I had, I would say 3 or 4 were any good, as in they knew their subject (showed mastery of it), explained things clearly, set reasonable due dates, were open to ideas and questions, was enthusiastic and didn't bore the crap out of you, and planned/used the time effectively, and didn't use heir power to try and rule with fear.
  13. Maybe the Ram's debut isn't so badly timed after all.
  14. I would love to have a G35 coupe with the double spoke wheels (absolutely love those wheels). I like the G37, but the G35 is still better looking to me. It was an excellent design. I'd also like a 90's 300ZX...love those cars, and considered one while car shopping but they are expensive for me and hard to find. Wouldn't mind a last gen Supra either, but they are way overpriced. I like the current Altima, as well as the new Maxima having seen one in person. I like the Accord coupe a lot too. Last gen TL would be nice as well. There's more but ths is a good start for now oh and the GTR of course
  15. It really isn't that bad, but there are some bad styling cues that if fixed would ake a world of difference I think.
  16. Yeah I noticed now that you have that theme. I never paid close attention and thought it was Vista
