  1. What's a good fuel system cleaner anyway?
  2. I wish that big screen that looks like a Nav was actually a Nav
  3. Well, it looks liked GM wussed-out on this one too. No hardtop. Looks like Mercedes will continue to be the only one below the 6-figure mark with a real hardtop.
  4. He didn't even use blueprints to build it, just photos! Truly, he is the only real man in existence. I bow before his greatness
  5. Chrysler Airflite, the RWD midsize concept based on a shorted version of LX, as opposed to the FWD craptastic Sebring that tried to emulate it. Chrysler Firepower. It was completely doable...Viperp latform with the 6.1L Hemi...would have made a great GT replacement for the Crossfire.
  6. "I reject your reality, and substitute my own!"
  7. I have yet to see one, so I'm very jealous of you.
  8. Not to hijack the thread, but dude, where the hell did you meet that Challenger?! I'm even more envious of you!
  9. I don't like carbon fiber in the interiors either.
  10. I'm sorry but you're retarded. You're basing this interior on past interiors even though this is the start of better interiors by Chrysler. Until you actually sit in one, don't make assumptions. You know what they say about assuming.
  11. Because you've seen the new interiors and touched them in person right?
  12. The dark colors do look better, but that grille is still retarded in that it's far too big. The interior looks fantastic though...but then I never had a problem with the interior. I'm also happy it's metal or metallic plastic or whatever...wood doesn't go well with dark interiors to me.
  13. I would rather walk, or buy a Cobalt, or buy a used Mazda3.
  14. 1.) That's not how I recall it...I recall you getting gas everywhere, and the hose breaking when you tried to twist it to get to the clamp screw. I then recall you coming to NAPA only to find out that none of the fittings they had matched your car's, so XP had to recycle the old fitting and make a temp one using a combination of that, clamps, different size connectors, fuel hose and a radiator hose. I also recall it only being a temp fix because the gas would eat through the radiator hose, and you would probably have to buy the real deal from the dealer. Which meant having to do the job over. I also recall the gas got all over you, and you mentioning the skin burning sensation it was causing, and saying that you regretted doing it because of said burning, but Julie needed the car so you had to do it. I guess your definition of "quick and easy" is different than mine. Did you ever get the right hose by the way? Make sure to save that monster the XP made, it's badass. I took pics, remember? 2.) Exactly how fast were you going? Because if you're doing like 120 and he's doing say, 75, and the speed limit is 65, he's not in the wrong, since he's already going 10 over. Now if he was going like 55 and you were going 70 (you, only go 70?) then that's different.
  15. Maybe the materials are just different, even if the design is the same, also I think the switches are new. Although the refreshed Compass has different door panels and seat detailing. Edit: If you look at the new photos I posted, you can see the while the overall design of the Patriot's door panel is similar, it is different, you can see this by looking at the shape of the door handle recess.
  16. Funny, the Jeep site isn't even updated, nor has there been any official photos released, but there are already some `09s on dealer lots. Here's a 2009 Patriot Sport: And to compare: 2008 Liberty
  17. I love black, but the orange looks good on it too, plus I like the names of the paints the give the G8...it's not boring. Ignition Orange as I recall...sweet name...better than say "bright orange" or something boring like that.
  18. I'm not singling you out, I'm talking about the board in general. FWIW I enjoy most of your posts and the different perspective you bring to the board.
  19. It's just that, too me, plood belongs with luxury, or rather pretensions of being luxury, and metal is for more performance oriented interiors/vehicles. Which one is Pontiac supposed to be? It should be noted that, as far as I know, the two cars that most fit Pontiac's image of performance, the G8 and Solstice, don't have plood in their interiors. That's just my :twocents:
  20. I always found that ironic because your sig has a FireBird in it. But the, my current sig has the Coupe 60 Concept in it.
  21. Respect, that's all that there needs to be. Show some actual respect for each other instead of throwing insults around, because all it does is further degrade the site. It isn't about who is right or wrong, it can be demonstrated without insults.
  22. I hate how the cheapened out the headlight designs and the lower front fascia.
  23. Reg doesn't understand that just because certain cars are not seen or available in his area doesn't reflect the rest of the country. I can walk into my local dealer and see plenty of AWD models and SXT/Touring models. I see plenty of them on the roads as well (in addition to the base models, and a fair amount of C and R/T models). He also doesn't understand that the new V6 series is coming in a year or 2 (I forget the exact date), but it takes TIME to develop an ALL NEW V6 family. This concept is too much for him to grasp.
  24. The convertible has the worst proportions of any of the G6, it looks terrible with the top up. Someone in the building I work at has a silver one...the wheels are nice and that's the only good thing I can say. And plood...in a Pontiac? Srsly? Leave the plood for Buicks, IMHO.
