  1. Oh...you mean THAT kind of stash.... That's cool...
  2. I win (for most badass police car)
  3. It may be a good idea to just keep the truck and use it once in a while and go with a cheap car, you can get some pretty nice stuff for not too much money. Although I personally wouldn't bother with an overpriced used car dealer unless it was a certified pre-owned one. As for the Cavi, if the impact bars are rusted (I dunno how big of a problem it is with J-bodies) you could alwasy bring that truck to the junkyard on a Saturday, find a Caviler with good bars, and spend an hour or so taking them off for $50 or so. I had to get a new one for the Prizm after the wreck, and it wasn't hard besides that one stupid nut that I didn't have enough leverage to get off. Luckily one of the guys at the yard was nice enough to you his monster ratchet.
  4. Oh, believe me, it made my day
  5. So Thursday we had a family trip which involved taking the Grand Marquis and the Intrepid 2 hours from Lawrence, through Boston, to UMass Dartmouth to move my brother into his dorm, as he starts college Tuesday. The plan was to get at least 6 hours of sleep, but instead we spent it watching Batman Begins and packing. We went to sleep at about 2:30am and woke up at 4:30am to be there by 7:30am. We somehow did this, I in the GM and my girlfriend in the Intrepid. Then when we got there we had to wait an hour in a line of cars for our turn to unload, then move it to his dorm and help hims set it up. Then we had to do extra shopping for things he forgot/needed. There was also a lunch break and finally helping him finish setting up. By about 3:30 we were exhausted but finished and embarked on the trip home..through Boston...during rush hour. I was in the Intrepid this time and her in the GM. Somehow we made it...and promptly went to sleep for about 14 hours. So who else has made a mini road trip or had a very long day with almost no sleep?
  6. Hey wmj, welcome back! Where ya been?
  7. Vehicle Tested: 2009 Cadillac CTS-V 4dr Sedan What Works: Stunning power with surprising refinement; looks fantastic; terrific optional Recaro seats. What Needs Work: Standard seats are too short and too mushy. Bottom Line: Let's see. It looks great and it's the fastest production sedan we've ever tested. The bottom line appears to be pretty damn good. Link to Full Article

  10. Yeah, knightfan brought it up for us to look deep into our soul and find the reverse meaning or something.
  11. Maybe this is a place to post random things while intoxicated
  12. Someone wanna tell me why this thread is "Compact car" but 2 of the current 4 photos are CUVs?
  13. My hat goes off to him!
  14. I'm all about the clean wheels designs. I like 5-spoke and double 5 or 6-spoke designs. Multipsoke designs I don't like as much, although BMW does a damn fine job with them. I don't normally care for chrome on most cars, I don't like black with rare exception. and I hate these kind of wheels:
  15. A fart can salute one and all! Happy Birthday.
  16. The Volt looks fantastic from what I can see, which is a lot thanks the that video. I think it looks better than the concept. This car really will change everything. Don't mind GXT, he is just pissing in the wind because he has to eat crow...recall back when the Volt was first reported for production that he said it would never happen.

  18. I've also heard of open office and its ounds good though I've never usedit. I have used AbiWord before, which is very similar to the pre 2k7 Word. You can get it here http://www.abisource.com/
  19. I would be very tempted to teach the jackass(es) a painful lesson. However what is retarded about our legal system is hat if someone wrongs you, like breaks into your house/car and damages your property or threatens you,a nd you take action, then the prick is entitled to press charges on you! It's f@#king ridiculous. If you don't want to get the $h! beat out of you then don't do something to warrant it. All I know is if I were to catch someone hurting someone else, threatening me, or breaking into /damaging my property I would make them pay for it.

  21. I'm surprised no one has brought this up yet: CTS-V uses a V8 and a supercharger but makes more power than the M5 with 2 extra cylinders It doesn't matter if it only beat the Germans by a little, the point it is is faster, stops better, handles better and laps the Ring quicker than the Germans. No one has been able to touch them in the uber performance market until now: not Acura, not Lexus, not Cadillac. Now Cadillac has released a car that beats the Germans, including the benchmark BMW in every performance measure. Most impressive indeed.
  22. I'm sorry to hear about this cap, people can be so digusting the way they toy with other people's lives. What if you make it seem like you can't pass whatever requirements are needed to do the job?
  23. You're only a man if you can build your own Tumbler from scratch. `Nuff Said.
