The less is to have the entire lineup from small cars to big trucks be very good products, and be able to adjust production based on demand / be flexible. Then it wouldn't be as much of a problem when gas prices go up and down and demand fluctuates.

My point is that why bother to by "American" if the American car looks Japanese/Eruopean/American. Especially since Chevy's long been promoted as being distinctly American.

Then why by the "American Revolution" brand? If it it's not American it makes it much less of a valid choice overa foreign car.

Like being ungainly? The coupe is alright but I never warmed up to the sedan. It looks droopy and the cab-for design doesn't work well with it.

Well...they are going to sell the convertible hardtop..you could do a conversion.

It's got a 2.5L / 3-speed automatic. It would be cool to fit a turbo to it (they had turbo 2.5's), although I'm not really familiar with doing such a thing. There's a Sundance in the junkyard, same one the doors came from, that's a 2.2 turbo...wonder if the Turbo is any good? I know from reading allpar that adding a strut tower is an inexpensive way to improve handling, I think the ones they make for the 240ZX or something fit right on with a few new mounting holes drilled in. It's up to him though. The main plans are to get the body ready and then painted.

I just discovered the Zune DesktopTheme a couple days ago. It's really cool...and finally a black theme. It's also easily the coolest thing to wear the Zune name...since the actual Zune is pretty lame.

The Canada line was great by the way.

Haha that is kind of a fun idea, although I know he plans to have the car repainted. I'll just take lots of photos before that happens...maybe show up at NAPA with it. That being said it's only going to get funnier when we put a blue passenger fender on it, blue hatch and black spoiler. As for the rockers, yep it's on the to-do list.

I don't like the big tail lights, they look just like the new 7-Series, which I also don't like. Overall It looks much better and more sophisticated than the Cobalt. Too bad GM is retarded and we won't get the car for almost 2 years.

More work to be done tomorrow.

So today we finally got the other door on. We also put the horn back on it and painted the rockers. Not professional, but still a big improvement and a cheap and quick way to make it look decent until the real work is done. And here's the old door. Had it inspected after we did the work. Somehow it passed emissions, but more importantly it passed safety without a problem. Good times.

I think it's funny that they used a photo of the Camaro concept on page 3.
