  1. Get ahold of the 2 Cudas in my garage so I could actually enjoy them.
  2. Understandable, plus there was tools and stuff already in the trrunk if I remember correctly. I'm sure the RoadMonster would have handled the trip well too had the transmission not been on its way out. You should get a wagon agaon...it's cooler than the sedan, especially with that sexy fake wood. Anyway, this is getting old fast, I just got really annoyed when you liked my car to being on the same level on mundaneness as a freakin' Camry. Give some it credit man.
  3. Oh sorry, I didn't see the "round" part of the trivia. My bad!
  4. A hardtop production Camaro and Chellenger?
  5. Dodge Shadows had them until 1889.
  6. Thanks! Yeah, no rust under the car. The only rust is a small spot on the driver's door frame, which I'll have fixed soon enough. I'm also going to have the car undercoated before winter. The door I just got has a tiny bit of sruface rust starting to form on the inside, gonna take car of that as well.
  7. After Sixty8's B-59 almost blew itself up from a bad waterpump less than 50 miles out, we came back to take another car. That poor thing was dragging its ass because we loaded it up with 4 people and our gear. We contemplated taking the Roadmaster he had then, but the dying transmission was a big no (although 68 still toyed with the idea, we decided against it). In the end we took the Intrepid, loader her up, no saggy butt, got 27-29 mpg going 80-90 mph most of he way to Tulsa. The only thing that broke was the cruise control light. That road trip was so much fun, wish we could do it again.
  8. Indeed it is!
  9. Another thread back from the grave!
  10. A steering wheel, a couple seats, 2 or 3 pedals, and some sort of shifter.
  11. I like the HHR better as a truck! The pain is a little wild, but overall it looks very cool. The PT is neat too, but I think the HHR looks better as a truck. The M80 was a cool concept, would probablyw ork in today's market if they offered ity with an quad cab option. Speaking of badass Jeep pickups, I wish they would build the Gladiator.
  12. No, because it falls under a different segment (Crossover/SUV).
  13. Anything over a certain size is classified as a full size car, since that's the largest class they have for cars. Intrepids are certainly larger than midsize cars, although they were cross-shopped and compared with midsize cars from the competition..mainly because of price (you got a lot for the money) and well, they were so much better than the last gen Stratus.
  14. As I recall, a car's size class is determined by the the interior dimensions. The Town Car has 108.7 cubic feet, only 4.2 cubic feet more than the Intrepid's 104.5 cubic feet total interior volume. That's not counting the trunk's volume.
  15. Who didn't see that coming? You can always cut the plastic out. If they make the b-pillar part of the metal cast, then you've got a problem.
  16. I've got the concept Camaro, I'll have to get the ragtop. I also want the ZR1 to go with my C4, C5, and C6.
  17. Speaking of Elements, I saw one broken down on the highway yesterday.
  18. I have both...it's interesting to compare the concept and production Challenger side-by-side. I actually prefer the production car's profile.
  19. Yep. From Allpar:
  20. Pooper Trooper
  21. I'm surpsied no one has made an In-N-Out joke yet.
  22. Nice! I never cared for the Aries much per say, but I have a soft spot for the wagon since we used to own one. I had no idea that had a Shelby Z 2.2 Turbo. That's sweet! On a side note, Davdsfarm is fun to watch.
  23. Drag that rusted hulk of what used to be a gorgeous `57 Saratoga, and do what you talk about doing from time to time: getting a frame from a newer vehicle and fitting it to that. Then stuff a V8, maybe a 340 or so (since i have one lying around), and a 6-speed. Make some kind of crazy rat-rod. Or if I had all the money in the world, restore it...it would be like 25% original at that point though.
  24. A bit of an improvement maybe? Just have to get the writing off still. Also need to adjust the door so it aligns properly.
