  1. Yeah but with the exception of the F-150 it's not like any of the other truck interiors were better.
  2. There's some guy on allpar who is planning to stuff a V8 in a Shadow.
  3. Transformers, hands down, with the Camaro.
  4. New door panels, arm rest, seats have new designs and double stitching, new door panels, shifter...basically almost everything is new or revised.
  5. Add about 20mph to that and you have a more accurate average speed.
  6. I never got why back in the day they had no cupholders...did cups not exist back then?
  7. Grand Marquis - 26.6 mpg bitches.
  8. This sales report is the best ever!
  9. I'm surprised at how well the Charger is hanging in there, despite teh fuel prices it hasn't completely fallen off the map. You know if they could just get a damn diesel in the US market the LX's could pull 30mpg.
  10. The GM is way down for the year but up for the month, which is funny.
  11. The strap wrenches suck unless the oil filter is way out in the open, which seems to be pretty rare.
  12. The worst is any 80s or 90's Honda/Toyota/Acura Ricer with a fart can exhuast. When they run like ass it's even better (worse?).
  13. I'd love to have one, they are so cool. I love that they have factory dual exhaust. How many 4-bangers have that? Plus the exhuast note is the best sounding of any 4-banger I've ever heard, IMO. It's deep and throaty, not raspy and high-pitched like a weedwacker on steriods.
  14. Only 2? That's not fair. Either: Challenger R/T w/ Trak Pak and MyGig (38,000) and a runnig, not restored but solid `57 Saratoga 2-door Hardtop ($6,500) or Camaro SS manual and a `73 Satellite Sebring ($5-7k)
  15. WHich is no doubt the case for a good junk of the population.
  16. It's due for one as well, and it probably has been done, pictures just haven't surfaced yet most likely.
  17. Making decisive decisions (converting truck plants tobuild Euro Fords for the NA market) VS sitting with their thumbs up their ass (we can build a CTS Turbo 4, but we don't now if customers want something that is better on gas and makes good power)?
  18. Ah, but according to McCain, the economy's fine!
  19. The annoucement the interiors were going to be redesigned came after Cerberus bought Chrysler, I think. I have some hope, because the Ram's interior went from being cheesy to one of the nicest in it's class. We'll see.
  20. Correct, the tan interior is the Patriot, the black is the Compass. I'm curious to see what the Caliber's will look like. Supposedly they have been going to great lengths and studying European interiors to make their interiors better. I can't say for certain, but despite the grainy scan, they certainly look much nicer and far less plasticy...so here's hoping. The dash design reminds me of a cross between the last Liberty and a VW Jetta...simple, and clean (notice the 1-piece dash). VW interiors are certainly not a bad choice to benchmark!
  21. Of course I nominate the LH, very special cars in terms of revolutionary design. Also the Acura Vigor and Honda Prelude, especially the generation before last.
