  1. I love the way the Scirocco looks...I wish they'd sell it here. That's the VW I would buy.
  2. It was funny
  3. Kerry spoke at my graduation, he's a brilliant speaker and witty guy...too bad we had a dip$h! get elected instead.
  4. At the start of summer I worked 3 jobs. My full time job, my deliver job, which I cut down to 1 day, and my side job doing web work for the person I interned with. I make sure to have Saturdays off so I have some relaxing time, or at least time to do things I want (When it's not friggin' raining). happily, I'm quitting my dilvery job after this weekend.
  5. I think the current one looks great, especially in Type S form.
  6. I don't like the front end of this thing, as previously stated, but different strokes for different folks. Not everyone wants or needs RWD or a V8. That's why we have choices/
  7. Yep, and there seems to be a general lack of caring in respect for modernizing our infastructure.
  8. So tell me what complaining about it has gotten you so far? Like I said, complain if you want, just because I don't feel like bitching every 2 minutes because gas prices have gone up again doesn't make me in the wrong. If someone says to me "gas prices suck" I'll agree completely, but I won't come home and teh first thing to come out of my mouth be "ah, motherf**king gas prices" With all due respect. :AH-HA_wink: So let's just leave it at that.
  9. Those are my all-time favorite Rivieras.
  10. well one strategy is to intoduce a new variation each year to keep interest in the car. I don't know if that's what they were going for, or if they are just slow though (a little of column A, a little of coulmn B perhaps?).
  11. My thoughts exactly.
  12. So tell me then, what good complaining about it will do? If you all want to bitch and piss andmoan go for it, all I'm saying is I'm not going vocally complain all the time. ...maybe when it hits $6-8
  13. Exactly, makes perfect sense, and if they style them right and price them right they should do well. The main reason Saab has done so poorly is because it's product either rots on the vine or has been rebadged Subarus or Chevies.
  14. I didn't say it's right, but what does bitching about it do? Nothing. If you have to drive you have to drive, and until there's alternative fuels and energies we can spend thousands of dollars to buy, we're pretty much going to keep refueling our cars with gas corect? There's not much you can do about it, like it or not. Unless you walk, take a bike, take a bus, take a train, or go the biodiesel route. I spend $40 a week on gas. Sure Spending $20 would be better, but If I say, don't go out to eat a day instead, the money is saved right there.
  15. We'll see. Either way I don't really care, and here's why: No matter the cost of gas we need to put it in our cars. We can bitch and moan about it but if we need to drive, we need to put fuel in regardless of cost. My driving habits have changed little since gas has hit $4.00. I can't say I drive the Prizm more now than the Intrepid because of fuel, because I drove it more as a commuter to begin with, and for a while the Intrepid had that stalling problem. If gas goes down great, because I'll save money, if it doesn't that sucks but oh well.
  16. It makes more sense rather than the original plan to have both the 9-5 and 9-3 on EPII.
  17. Thing about the TSX is that the grill is not nearly as massive. It looks fine, if not particularly exciting. The problem with Acur's new grill isn't so much the grill itself but that the designers seem to have no clue about proportions. The RL is a good example of this. I think you yourself chopped the grill to be a bit smaller and it made a huge difference. The TL, if the grill were smaller and more in proportion would look significantly better. Either way it's not exciting, but at least it wouldn't look ugly up front. My beef with the rear end is that it's not original, but it looks fine.
  18. Why mess with the interior? That's the best part about the Insigina. Honestly you could bring the whole car here and it would be fine, unless they were to make the front end a bit more aggressive...I'd be all for that. Dumbing down the car for this market does not a segment killer make.
  19. It's not much of a poll without an actual poll. The blends are useless, as you get rid of all of the advantages of full synthetic by mixing it with dino oil. Go Mobil1 and never look back. It's actually better to do it sooner than later because as cars get older the seals get older, and syntheic will find any leak. Which is why our cars just stick to the dino juice, since they're all near the 200k mark.
  20. Maybe because it is ugly? Honestly, Acura's best grill experiement was the MDX, which I rather liked. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, it just seems you have no problem with the styling of any of the new Hondas. You still haven't told us what driving the car has to do with how it looks.
  21. That reminds me, I saw one of those big car haulings carring a full load of Tacomas of that year range on teh highway last week. Off to the scrapper I guess, so no one will ever know. That's just retarded how anyone could not only put a positive spin on this, but claim that Toyotas better than GM...for apparently havingt o quietly recall the trucks which they couldn't build right teh first time.
  22. I feel obligated to post some photos from Autoblog, including the SS
