  1. ^^^ No. The issue with the size of the ATS has more to do with the fact that it was designed in 2006.. and was supposed to debut in 2008-2009 as a same size and dimension competitor to the E9X 3series. Simple as that. The F3X 3Series is simply larger.. thus when comparison are made the reviewer comes away praising the 3series for its roomier (by a smidge) backseat. The driving dynamics aside.. the ATS one flaw.. unless the backseat is truly an issue.. is that its gauge cluster is more Chevy than the Camaros. IN fact.. if they gave the ATS the Camaro's cluster.. they'd be good to go for the remainder of the life cycle.. That life cycle is over in just a bit Pretty much.
  2. I'm actually fine with the 2016 look. It is a bit more elegant in its styling of the front where as this is more sporty. I guess Its really about what U are after. Considering the demographic, and the sales... I would think the waterfall was fine. Hopefully this change is accepted by the target
  3. Amzing isn't it? The American came in and took on Japan and Germany and beat both their tired asses AGAIN. The specs reiterate what I'm saying even more. The Caddy versus the Lexus is interesting in that the Lexus has a V8.. a whopping 47HP more, but the anemic torque band leaves the thing looking weak. The Cadillac, still manages to come within mere 10ths of the GS-F while not even being the Top dog CTS. $85K vs $71K.. while the CTSV still comes in at $2K less than the LExus.. and we all kno how that battle would end.
  4. Thanks Thed... Took her out for dinner last night Might be time for a 4 Car Garage. The Nox can stay outside
  5. Didn't kno. I gotcha tho. I guess oil prices effect U quick fast considering your current career. Yup. But I suspect I'm gonna wind up with an Alpha-platform something or other in the garage in due course. MT just did a comparo with the CTS VSport and it smoked the Audi and Lexus it was up against. Saw that. What thru me thru a loop was that Toyota charges (as tested) $87,000 for a 467HP car that is ugly as f@#k. To put that into perspective.. it costs just $13K less than my VSeries with almost 180 more HP The CTS-V actually starts lower than Motor Trend's listed base price of the Lexus. That's a no-brainer if I ever saw one. Insane. EFFIN' INSANE!!!

  8. The ATS-V already beat the BMW M3 in a comparison, and it straight up out-lapped it as well. I don't mind the Cadillac having its own engine, it has its benefits. A tuned ATS-V will walk away from a tuned Camaro SS. Let GM's performance portfolio be as broad and interesting as possible while we're still in this enthusiast-driven era. That is, honestly, a comparison I would like to see. How about Drew? The 2016 Camaro SS vs. ATS-V! Let's settle this once and for all! I would like to see this two. After driving both Camaro SS and ATS-V I walked away from the experience preferring the ATS-V in the performance area while preferring the Camaro in the.. gasp.. interior and tech area. Crazy right. Again.. the tell tale sign of TIME.

A tuned ATS-V will walk away from a tuned Camaro SS. Let GM's performance portfolio be as broad and interesting as possible while we're still in this enthusiast-driven era. This^^^. I give the LT1 and Fam props all day long.. and at one point truly championed the idea of the Small Block in everything that Cadillac did with a V8 or V8 Power, even going on record that the SBC should have been the replacement for the Northstar in the 2004-2010 era. The thing is that Cadillac needs to have its own engines.. not even for the sake of the performance, but for the sake of luxury buyer arrogance. Sad but true. Despite this win.. I bet good money that there are some in the comments section who are still saying.. "its still just a Chevy engine." Hell they say that $h! about the LT4, LS9, and LS7 before it. The Camaro/Camaro SS is an ATS/ATS-V with a newer wrapper and new tech by default of time.. that is 2012 vs 2015. Anyone that thinks that the upcoming CT3 (ATS Replacement) isn't gonna make the current Camaro look old is simply insane and should be talked to seriously.
  10. I don't even get what's going on with the Republican party at this point. Its a circus of clowns Thanks. The truth of the matter is that I have been talking about this for a while but wanted to wait til Spring was here. This week.. 60 degrees and 70s are coming back to MD.. I'm pumped that Sasha and Rose will get some playtime U kno I'm cheap. Hey!!! What are U gonna do that the new GS is coming? U trading in the C6 GS or what?
  11. Casa, the rims you got are Perfect, they allow the Calipers to accent the whole wheel and it offsets the rest of the car perfectly. I would have gone with these rims myself or black chrome rims. Either way it would have accented the calipers and the car just right. Nice jobe! Yeah.. I have fallen for them. I think I might still get the polished ones as a swap for days that I'm feeling the need. Thanks tho
  12. Video will get done, but forget the burnout.. Lol.. I will race.. I will run hard, but I never do burnouts on $500+ each tires. Call me cheap One thing in wondering is should I have gotten the midnight wheels or the midnight pocket silver ones. While they are not black like my Z51's they are still not blingy like I'm used to on my Caddys
  13. Thanks guys..; I just want to driver her. I have an appointment tomorrow for Tint.. and I have to make a return visit for the Android Update because I didn't have time to do it earlier. Takes about 30 minutes. Car has Apple Carplay, but I'm all about Android, so it needs to get done.

  15. This. I can attest to the fact that the only reason I click on Toyota, Honda, Hyundai thread is a HOPE that they are going out of business, and the thread is about that.
  16. interesting... Autonews
  17. We just came off a blizzard.. just 4 weeks ago in the east. After that.... another minor snow storm of 4 inches. Plus.. the production has to be ramped up due to going from the ATS.. then CTS.. now the Camaro at Lansing. I bet good money that CTS sales, BTW, are directly affected by VSeries introduction. Furthermore there are no convertible Camaros avail yet.. not to mention 2.0L Turbos for that cost effect. Mustang inventory is 2X that of Camaro as well at this point '16 vs '16s
  18. I said this a while back. I see them hurting their image for the sake of sales. It is a prime reason why I have gone on record in denouncing any Cadillac being under $30K.. U simply cannot be prestigious if any average waitress can afford your product. As an owner.. in a few days of a $100K Cadillac.. I simply do not look forward to seeing the Crest on a car purchased for under that amount.. let alone rub elbows with an employee who I pay 4X less than what I make.Sounds effed up.. but the luxury buyer thinks this way
  19. Prayers are with U Olds
  20. It says Tesla's rarely have issues, easily allowing the brand to afford and support this policy unlike any other automaker, and it provides another value-added perk for Tesla owners. It also says Tesla's are increasingly popular outside of urban areas, due to their quality, customer loyalty and satisfaction. Stop smoking on the job son. Every.. and I mean EVERY person I kno who owns a Tesla has had to put a call into Tesla Service for a non-starting issue or something. The quality isn't that great despite your endorsement. Even more to the point tho is that the range anxiety is most likely the largest culprit behind this move.
