  1. here you go... sorry for the poor quality i didnt set up my camera phone for high resolution so i had to stretch em a bit...
  2. you saw an avalanche on the road or on a dealers lot? hope they are here soon...
  3. Who on the market place has the most underrated & underrespected products?... and your asking if the media gets paid off to say a good word...? if anyone is paying anyone its toyota...
  4. yea its a good engine... but i've heard a few people complain about its relitively consumptive behavier... and Consumer reports did a report on vehicles that got better and worse fuel ecconomy then the EPA suggested, and that was the only GM vehicle on the list for worse...
  5. anyone got a recomendation on headers or exhaust that would help with fuel ecconomy, i've had a few customers say they accually notice a big increase in fuel ecconomy with full exhaust swap... so... i guess i'm looking to make this thing growl a little more she's kinda quiet
  6. are you refering to the Inline 6... the Trailblazer engine that is rated one of GM's most fuel consumptive vehicle? granted that thing has a lot of power, but man it gets horrible fuel ecconomy... it says on the window 16-21 or something... but realistically most people say its more like 11-13... for a mid sized suv...

unless you are just mocking them... then its okay
  8. i think so it makes the lifters a little heavier... are either of these v6's that are balanced and dont need balancers or which v6s are those?
  9. I thought saab had a nice 400 hp concept that was E100 & a hybrid... the first hybrid to not use fosile fuels... http://media.gm.com/servlet/GatewayServlet...=74&docid=24647
  10. well today came and as i had talked before about changing my ride... well i did... probably nothing to what i would have expected... but i'll say this ever since Leathal Weapon... Mel Gibson had a midnight blue Chevy(maybe GMC) Crew Cab Duely... well I always wanted one just like that cause it looked awesome... well i got a midnight blue GMC Sierra 3500 Ext Cab Duelly... traded in the 02 trans am... went from 5.7 to 8.1... and damn that tranny shifts great! love the allison I guess i'm done with racing for now... besides i had a few close calls and i know when to call it quits before I get a ticket... anyone know any nice GM truck enthusiast sites that could help me out?
  11. i think they took a hit on the izusu shares that they sold.. the suzuki, i thought wagooner said it could be as much as 750 million profit... the sale of GMAC, i dont know if thats a profit... what else did they sell?
  12. one thing that i noticed was that the revenue was either at a record high or near... thanks to high sales prices of the GMT900
  13. no... but who cares if it is... i mean as long as it looks good?

    wow... thats unbeleiveable...
  15. the bright spots should be the entire GMT900, should gain marketshare, or atleast maintain if that market tanks... saturn will be revitalized... Sky an additional 12k units... aura, probably 100k a year... outlook probably 100k a year... astra should put in a 50k a year... if buick gets anything new it will be a hit... we still have the pontiac G6 convertable... we have the next gen cadillac CTS should be debuting next year or so... possibly the camaro... next year possibly a new rwd impala with the camaro will increase sales... along with monte carlo... should increase sales... basic new philosophy of not fleeting vehicles out, will improve depreciation, increasing desireable vehicles do to their investment grade as one might call it... i'd say GM can increase NA units by about 500k units by 2008... at least...
  16. well perhaps 4x4 models but i dont see that here in cali... but here in our store we'll see maybe 650+ cars per moth and in the winter months sometimes as low as 400 cars... now with the average public purchasing at that rate... 60% would not be advisable to do a massive launch... perhaps it isnt that strong nationwide... but here thats what i've noticed the winter months are bad for the automotive business... every one wants to save for holidays
  17. i think GM cought toyota off gaurd just asmuch as toyota did about hybrids with GM

  19. i'd also say tho, that launching a new vehicle in the fall is suicide... the silverado although it has a massive amount of sales... it still is the worst time to spend all the advertising budget on the silverado in the winter months... GM may not start to blow the advertising out until january or when we have the full line up of Ext, Crew, and regular cabs... but... who knows
  20. it stands for economically responsible and technologically advanced... so thus ECO... TEC Ecotec straight from GM training baby
  21. the new tahoes are doing great...
  22. sure to keep hype up... but also to keep hype down... the week they showed us the GMT900 Tahoe and GMC... Tahoe sales died at my dealership... if they still have 500k silverados to sell... thats a lot of inventory to move and as soon as they show us the 2007 no one will want the 06's... thus incentives must move old stock units out...
  23. based on what i've heard from lutz, the future opel would be built in america... it would of opel design and what not but just built and assembled here... thats what i got out of a certain speach he spoke of global products
  24. i think its prefered to be called canola oil...
  25. i hate to burst your bubble... but without them... the united states economy will collapse, and our way of living except for the independantly wealthy will be gone... without the big 3... we'll be in anohter great depression
