  1. Dude. Canada? its like 50 miles away that should be easy to check off the list. But i have been to some deferent places and Vietnam is a very beautiful country. i want to go there again. Europe. No offense but i found nothing there i cant find here. i don't remember it being memorable plus im not well liked by the EU. Siberia. has beauty that cant be described. If i could i would love to go see it and explore it. I hate deserts. if i never see another one in my life i will be good. spent to much time in the great sandbox of hell and i don't like it at all.
  2. Decent are you kidding? this is great news!! Make it worth while and keep those grades up. Don't go into the CIA!!!! just a warning man it haunts you for the rest of your life after your out of it. I wasn't in it but in a very similar department. I would recommend the FBI but avoid the CIA. if you want to know why either PM or search some of my posts. This is awesome to hear some good news for once.
  3. i want to see these disturbing f'ed up people try that to me, because i would wreck there $h!. These kinda of people make me sick. makes me want to suit up and do some underground $h! and end this madness. I mean theres no reason people should die like this. I beg these people to go after me because I have really nothing left to live for so I would risk it all to save other innocent civilians. this really gets me going.
  4. 3.599 * 23 gallons = a $85 fill up gahhh... this is outrageous. i wish gas was 1.90 like in the start of this.
  5. Ninilchik, Alaska. Going to build my dream house there and retire because i love it so much!!! Once i figure out Autocad Architecture 08 i will post up the initial designs.
  6. I wonder if he visited a 3rd world village. Because after being in one of them you hold everything you have with much more honor and feel much more grateful about your life.
  7. I thought the same thing But trust me the line Money doesn't by happiness is total $h! most of the time. Truly If i die tonight I won't care i have come to except death and all those around me have. In a way i am waiting for it. and that Start date will mean alot more than that dash because i hate the time in between the start and the end. I live with so many regrets sometimes i break down in public and freak out. I can never escape them or get rid of them but I have come to terms with them and overall i wasn't a good person throughout life and well i should pay for that the only thing i can ask is no one else pay for my mistakes or actions. Priorities in life Be happy stay with Kim Move to Alaska and build my house everything else i could careless about.
  8. Really a guy gets paid to teach about the cold war? whats there to say i mean I think the cold war really wasn't that important. I mean it was pivotal but I think it wont hold any value in the future. Its almost exactly as the African front in 1984 they used it as a weapon of fear to scare the civilians. Star wars Project? I mean come on I was involved in the end of the cold war stuff and i think it was damn near planned. I was at the tear down of the Berlin wall. The way it was set up was like a hate speech almost. But I will never forget the looks on people faces being reunited with family and such. the joy of freedom is not something you can truly grasp until it has been stripped from you. If you want to study shady politics study JFK.
  9. yes i understand it is like 68's worst fear because we will all be in jelly bean shaped cars that are all the same. also they will all be fast stock. the ev1 had a 7 second 0-60 and that was the most reccent pioneer. No more big block motors no more well soul if you will.
  10. Hopefully i dont offend anyone here, but Alt. fuels are like cancer, There is no incentive to get it out now. as long as they make a little progress once in a while they get there massive funding checks. I love the Electric car. I think about the Tesla roadster everyday. i think the future is electric, When? as soon as batteries last 500 miles a charge and when charing takes 30 minutes. Hydrogen is not the answer because the only way we make it is buy burning fossil fuels.
  11. that totally blows dude. again all that damage because some dumbass wants a free ride. I know how you feel man.
  12. I hate Physical Therapy I have to go twice a week and it really is getting annoying. I have about 8 pills i have to take a day cause of previous injuries and what happened in november
  13. if your a civil war guy read hard tack and coffee
  14. True American Badass right here!! At least it will go to things that are truly American. although it might stimulate something else.
  15. No not at all its been hit hard very few shops open still the lumber industry is dead so no work up there. seems like everyone works for the freighter company that goes to Wisconsin. TC reminds me way to much of Ann Arbor for some reason, but you can spend days walking through it. With gas prices this summer the charter captains are going to get hit hard with bills and probably low customer turnout. I hope it gets better soon.
  16. Near Big rapids. Ludington is about 45 minutes from it i think.
  17. whats better is the price 20k down and an 80k loan @5.75 fixed. Good credit is so important in life. Thanks a lot hopefully i can enjoy it.
  18. Audi A5 Coupe I might betray GM for it. Damn it was so sexy. I also lost a race with my 95 4th gen against a.. a.. 04 Lincoln LS v8. Mostly because i don't have that kind of power to get out of the turns and i got cocky and threw the Camaro in a ditch. Surprisingly i could keep faster entering and exiting speeds in turns but in the straights it was like i was standing still. then i realized BF Goodriches wont keep you on the road if there is gravel and a 80º turn. did a 180 and grinded the frame on the cement as it rolled backwards into the ditch. luckily a guy with a brand new ford Dually stopped and towed me out. the LS couldn't stop laughing ( I work with him) And in front of the 2 Ford nuts i had to pay one a $50 and i tipped the guy a 50 for pulling me out. But we casued a traffic back up for 20 minutes as we were all talking well i was getting laughed at for being the Chevy guy. Anyway F-350 superduty dually. Very impressed with fit and finish and overall quality of it.
  19. Its going straight to the Cottage and home building fund. on a acre with 185 feet of lake frontage. about 80% finished. $600 towards trim and furniture. Kim's 600 is going towards Curtains and the Feminine things
  20. You would think but its hard to find a burgundy with cruise and a wheel and keys still attached. in going to take my time and do it right might go to ohio for a couple junk yard searches. By the way what color is your interior? and what was your address again? also leave you door unlocked.... I heard it gives you longer engine life. Yeah next time im at the shop i'm going to throw it on the 4 post and drop the pan and change the filter and fluid. really it could be totaled so im lucky in a way.
  21. leaky oil gasket? Anyway BV, we know you wont listen to us so go what for what you want.
  22. The Stupidity in this thread amazes me... I just ask to look at both sides of an argument before talking, Include everything in your thoughts economy, and available jobs in the surrounding area. The UAW doesn't want the Big 3 to go bankrupt at all. What happened at American Axle is the reason why unions started in the first place to help workers from big corporations. For Example you go into work and your Employer says your pay is cut in half and your medical care and 401k plans gone. What would you do? Most likely quit right? Heres the thing where are these people going to go? They have the same bills you do, so they can't just sit at home. Any one living in Ohio or Michigan knows there are no good jobs at all. Not even Fast food places are hiring. There are no jobs in the area. Do you want all of us to leave like the dust bowl era and flood your city with people looking for work? You need to understand that they are fighting for there job and to make what they made before. They will understand pay cuts but they need to be warned and need to be gradual. Another thing about the Auto industry now is that Dies are mostly privately owned and are strict on tolerances unlike the 70's. Also the lack of suppliers affect this too. Back then if a supplier was demanding to a auto company they would say kiss are ass and take the dies and give them to another supplier. Now They can't take there dies back also there isn't any bidding on these jobs like there used to be. So the suppliers have a monopoly and started to realize it and trying to Make more money for them selves at the Expense of others (Capitalism at its finest). This is why Michigan is so bad has no job market, record Bankruptcies, foreclosure's, homeless, and unemployment. Theres more to this than what you call greedy workers. Think before you speak. Call me a dumbass, pull up figures, Cause in the end whats going on around me in the metro Detroit area is the only proof I need to see what is truly going on here.
  23. i think i have enough new titles for a year now.
  24. i need to read brave new world again i forgot about that one
  25. I know that maybe some of us read but most of the time i love to i just dont find time and i try my best to read alot of books. Anyway i re-read George Orwells 1984 and totally understand it at a new level. It never ment much to me but I finally understand how and why he wrote it. You guys have read it right or am i the only one. if you havent read it you should! and i wont ruin it for you unless some people really want to discuss it. Other great books. Grapes of Wrath The great Gatsby Catcher in the rye- Caufield reminds me of BV in a way for some reason A Walk in The woods - love it to death
