  4. I say go to a busy store with NO security cameras on the parking lot, then park your truck there and shop for like an hour and go to your truck act surprised and make sure there's plastic pieces on the ground and remove the tape. call police file report for hit and run then have insurance company fix it.
  5. yeah without Michigan residents going to Ohio to buy fireworks i think Ohio would crumble. I don't mind fireworks 3-4 before and after the fourth but what bothers me is that it now seems the fireworks start at June 1st
  6. The bead of the weld is resting on top of the stock and not flush. There wasnt enough heat to get the pool of metal needed to fuse the entire thickness together. Instead there was only enough heat to melt the filler rod and probaly about 15% penetration of the metal resulting in the bead being that raised off the stock. To me it looks Tig welded. Normally the welds that look $h!ty hold the best. I have a couple certifications from the Hobart Institute of Welding to back that up. What an Idiot though... Is he doing this to avoid the big engine tax over there? since its now a 2L engine?

  11. well so far so good. She is still there but in a less critical area. The only thing the doctors haven't figured out is that there appears to be some clotting, but they are going to put screens in some how. But hopefully by next weekend she can come home. A therapist is coming out Monday to see if its possible for her to come home.
  12. if its sunny out, I mean looking stupid is better than a sun burnt neck.
  13. I was going to say those $h!ty welds on that box at the front. They look pretty but no penetration.

  17. I believe it is a British military thing when there was a shortage from the Quartermaster (clothing department) and there Operatives are called commando's and they were late to get there supply's so there was no underwear. Instead of being embarrassed they made it a point of pride saying stuff like underwear slows us down. so regular people thought they had the edge by going "Commando." This is what i rember from years ago don't know if its true. I like the boxers, but swamp ass is a problem sometimes.
  18. Well Things are at a stalemate i guess. this will be her 6th night in Intensive Care. The Doctors don't know whats wrong, but I have all my faith in them. They have new ideas everyday and practice them. One thing i have learned is that people do care for me. I always thought that people just dealt with me but after seeing the reactions of people that are around me it really changes my perspective on things. like Friday when i had to return to work to finish up the paper work and hand paychecks out. everyone was just quiet, Thats odd because it a blue collar shop and everyone usually is scream and talking about something, but When I walked in everything just dropped. It was awkward, but I knew it was because the guys cared, The owner then came up to me and said That he would cover my work and that i could leave. I guess its simple acts that mean the most. I think I will get by though yesterday all i thought about was that it was my fault like why wasn't i there I should have been driving or something I could of done. We just need to take this day by day i guess. And thanks for your support. It truly means everything to me!
  19. Go drive a Lucerne now... Its a good car but compared to what others offer it really is behind for a luxury car. Hell even try to compare it to the new Malibu.
