  1. I am looking at getting myself some cheap wheels for spring/summer. Maximum price of $3000 CAD I would really like an Achieva (1994 or 1995 is my preference). I found an ad on Saturday for a 1994 Achieva S sedan with 160,000 Kilometers for $2200. Called, and a lady told me she had bought a Corolla, and wants to get rid of the Olds pronto. I asked over the phone if its a V6 or 4, but she said she didnt know, she would have to look in the manual (haha women driver). I came to look at it on Sunday, and was mildly dissapointed. It is a rock bottom base model. It has the 2.3 OHV I4, 3 speed auto, 14inch wheelcovers, and crank windows. The best part was, it is Purple Pearl Metallic (a super rare color, and the same as our '95 Lumina!). Car seemed ok mechanicaly, but had some minor rust, and a lot of broken bits inside. The power doorlocks on both doors dont work, the fuel filler release doesnt work, only the front speakers work (rear are toast probably). I thought "$1000", but offered $1300 to see what she would say. She said "sure, we can do that." It would include certification. I said I would give it some thought, and left. Yesterday she calls me up, and says basically: "You seemed like a nice guy, and I just want to get rid of the car, so I will drop the price to $500! My question: WOULD YOU DO IT? (or am I crazy) pics:

  5. Really good pictures! I appreciate the fact that you took detail shots, and pics of displays (SAAB merchandise, CTS-V features, Saturn stuff). Thats often not the case with most galleries from shows. I hope I go to the Chicago show sometime in the future, looks like a lot of fun.
  6. Just a grille? I was expecting the whole front end...
  7. Paolino, you just had to quote that, didn't you.
  8. It is concave. The spoiler fits into the shape, and normalizes it. EDIT: AAS beat me to it!

    SMRT

I recently drove a SMART (a yellow one lol). It had NO power. If you let of the gas, the engine puttered and the car came to a stop. Acceleration was..well, I bet I could outrun it on foot. It did have a very nice turning circle though. The steering was very precise too.
