  1. congrats, i happened to stumble upon this place about 4 yrs ago but never joined up. i actually joined just to see all the stuff members got to see and forgot my user and password so i set up this account 5 months after the first. i think i used thatguy8269 the first go round.
  2. and the Lord did grin this thing sounds sweet
  3. thats rough stuff man, we had an incident like that happen down here where i live about 6 months ago involving an area homeless man that everyone knew. he was crossing a 4 lane but he was in the cross walk and a guy slammed him doing 50 from the side. he also went through the windshield of the vehicle. i cannot remember if the driver was on a cell phone but he was driving under a suspended license. we had to xray him in the er. broken humerus, broken femur, both his lower legs were broke and he ended up losing one of his legs below the knee. this guy had no excuse, clear day around 5pm. i will say it is amazing how the human body can recover and i hope everyone has a full recovery, including yourself because i am sure you prolly have had some "replays" since it happened
  4. blu ray
  5. i have to say i would back the plug in hybrids just because of the fact that anyone can use them... the hydrogen on the other hand will have to wait until the filling stations for them become more mainstream and available. i'm sure than in japan they are concentrating efforts to get said filling stations spread around... ask anyone about alternate fuel here and they'll probably respond with "you mean corn?"
  6. haha guess that explains why my colorado goes faster than my buddys ranger.
  7. hehe i'm blazing a trail... got 2 edlebrock 500cfm carbs on my impala now... screw high pump visits i'm going to drive it... only on the weekends
  8. 103 in the impala before the motor was redone, 100 in the colorado - limit, and 135 in my dads 94 z28 just like ya'll ran out of road... was still pulling hard, tach was at 3600 or so so there was much more left in her. why is is so fun to go fast?
  9. 3.42 in SC, took $53 to fill up the colorado today. oh well, 3.42 is kinda cheap compared to out west i guess.
  10. personally i'd spring for
  11. ubbber lame it is then, according to this article its a 4sp auto only if you check the v6 box
  12. I think this is a new vid, pretty much only want to see it for the sound. Thats one mean sounding pushrod brute click and enjoy... just clean up when you are done
  13. dont know if this has been posted yet i looked but didnt see anything. In the first few pages of this months muscle car review was information stating that the 5.7 R/T challengers will have 2 versions of the 5.7 a 370hp version for the auto and a 375 version for the 6sp. also in the mix is the 3.5 250hp for the SE. http://www.leftlanenews.com/dodge-challenger.html theres the back up info. -edit- got out my issue of muscle car review and it states that there will be a ram air hood, cold air intake, long tube headers, a custom after cat exhaust, crankshafts, and cams and heads for the hemis. suspension upgrades include coilovers, performance springs, and a strut tower brace. for the outside there is a ram air hood ( i guess like the drag strip challenger) rear spoiler and graphics package ala t/a stripes. inside a t-shift handle and a pedal kit and an upgraded nav system.
  14. umm... unless there is a post that has been deleted.. i think carbiz got chimed in on first. as far as toyota beating GM good for them hooray... now maybe all the hecklers will turn their eyes upon number 1 and gm can stop worrying so much about the press for a change. (wishfull thinking im sure)
  15. we had a 55 packard clipper constellation but sold it due to the high price of parts for it. it was my great aunts. wonderful car and way ahead of its time in my mind. self leveling ride system. power windows was green and moon white. see if i can get a picture of that thing loaded on here sometime.
  16. "Right on Toyota!! Thanks for doing right by your customers and taking the high road on this issue. Many other auto makers would leave their customers out in the cold, and just tell them that rust just happens and they're out of luck. But Toyota shows (once again) that they stand behind their vehicles and stands by their customers. That's the reason I'm a Toyota owner and will continue to be one!!" hehe i love that one... if i had bought a truck like some of these poor saps and had to park it cause the frame was shot but the car still ran i think i would be quite pissed... it should be the vehichle is parked because a blown motor or grenaded tranny.

  21. well if we gonna talk old school drinks there was a limited run from RC called Royal Crown Draft, they made the stuff with pure cane sugar and it only came in 12 oz brown glass bottles. great stuff but it was gone in a year, i think it was cause sales tanked on them. was like drinking syrup though hehe http://www.gloryfood.com.sg/Photo/royalcrowndraft2.jpg
