  1. Indeed... I don't mind thoughtful critique of domestic vehicles, but that was a cheap shot on American transmissions....
  2. Now if they could only put Arizona sunshine in that container, and ship it to Ohio...we would be all set....
  3. I think you need to try the self massaging and heating thing, or at least the seats in the Focus ST. Seriously now....the Focus ST has great seats. I love CCAPS Focus, but still a little disappointed he didn't get the ST. I really like the Focus ST BTW...
  4. All joking aside it is a really decent vehicle.
  5. Indeed....but life goes on methinks.
  6. I have seen what Acura does when it takes risks and pushes limits and there is a link to C and G. Obviously they are smoking the same stuff our posters in the politics thread are enjoying so heavily...
  7. That would make seemingly infinite rational sense.
  8. Agree on exhaust...GM nailed it to begin with...
  9. I wonder if ti would pass modern emissions standards. They ran forever....
  10. Obviously given the debate skills of some members in the thread...socialized education has failed. The nice thing is that this also explains 90 percent of the other threads here at C and G also after a certain point...
  11. You don't live in a part of the country where using salt on the roads is part of the local religion..
  12. ...an entirely new sort of bang shift...I love it.
  13. Interesting how both this and the SRX look better in person than in photographs...
  14. Acura, like infinity and Lincoln, seems to have trouble positioning itself as a true premium brand. In terms of vehicles in this class, I like the SRX...it does not photograph well IMHO, but it has an nice aggressive "ballsey" look in person....like it just wants to own everything else in the parking lot. SRX has a nicer dashboard as well
  15. Like the musicians always say, practice, practice, practice....
  16. It is even more pronounced on the TLX sedan, that looks much better as well. Now if Lexus would only wake up and restyle the front of their current cars....
  17. Rumor is CCAP provides his own heat and massage...jsut sayin...
  18. If they had only rust proofed them and built them out of some sort of quality steel...they were neat little trucks!
  19. Had not thought of it that way, but you are right. Modern roof crush standards for you....I would gladly put that 1960 Olds from the Car AD Regency posted up....
  20. Now see, if you had gotten the Focus ST with the Recaro's rather than the Titanium....the seats would have helped with the process as well...
  21. Those were a really cool vehicle. Sally, girl I took to prom back when I was a junior in high school...her parents had one. That was the first time I got to spend time with that style truck up close...Neat Truck... Wish GM still built a small truck like that. With a 355, yours must ahve been a lot of fun!
  22. I like what Acura has done to refresh this....
  23. Because said D$#cks have not found similar girl bits to enjoy... Seriously, I don't know why domestic car guys feel the need to trash other domestic car makers. I travel in automotive circles that are heavily import oriented...the import guys don't trash talk the domestics like this, why should the domestic guys? If in seeing the Camaro and Mustang the only thing you can think about is trash talking one of them...you are not a real car guy (or gal).
