  1. So essentially it looks like they have succeeded in building a larger, uglier and pricier Lincoln Navigator....
  2. Absolutely!
  3. What was that PT Barnam said about one being born every minute?
  4. In this case giving up the ghost quickly might be best for all involved.
  5. This and the Kia you just reviewed in all reality probably look better with the manufacturers camo on than off....ugh.....
  6. The nice thing about month over month sales growth is that it is not fabricated like it is with FCA. But then again, Subaru has respect in the amrket, reliable vehicles, descent resale and residuals, and an existential understanding of who and what it is as a corporation....not things that can be said about FCA.
  7. I just hope I can buy an EV 4WD with 42 inch tires because it is getting deep in here...and I am not talking about the level of intellectual discussion... I wonder if bullshit conducts electricity.....might have to worry about shorting out the batteries....
  8. I like the Renegade, but I cannot kid myself into actually thinking I would drop coin for one. GT350 R would wildly Trump a hellcat....by like a hundred to one or better for me....so in real world terms...nahh.....would rather have a plain Shelby than a hellcat, actually. Used Charger R/T my 23 year old son and I looked at a little while back, 25 grand, decent miles....but car did not feel well put together. There is a reason Charger is one of the fastest depreciating passenger cars sold in North America. Alfa sedan is nice to look at, and would be great if you were in Italy where people actually understood the car. As it is, destined to be a repair and depreciation magnet. They sell in stupidly small numbers also. Quoted for truth. The difference between FCA and a turd though is that a turd can be composted for useful fertilizer. I guess FCA will provide industrial tooling in the secondhand market when they implode, so the analogy isn't too far off... This thing needs a sarcasm button....
  9. Quite the opposite of Cadillac and Lincoln who both have gains...
  10. ...and yet there are a ton of better options out there.
  11. It is to be expected, for various reasons.
  12. Just like everyone else, SUV's are moving metal...
  13. Their average transaction prices are higher than many other players, but they are still short 20,000 units for the year....
  14. Can do....stopping by the vW dealer after work to get a better feel for how the buy back is going...
  15. Excellent, glad to see them doing well.
  16. Still legal and safe at the minute, but will drive the other car if we get a big snow storm. Hoping to be out of the Jetta by the end of February.
  17. Not a bad month at all for them, not surprised to see Tundra down a little bit as the domestics are all three bringing their A game when it comes to trucks.
  18. Spectacular performance, glad to see Malibu get the love ti deserves, it is a gorgeous car. Volt up is a very, very good sign...Cadillac is getting some love....what is not to like?
  19. It would be interesting in a top gear sort of way to ave to buy 5 vehicles for twenty grand....
  20. Good to see them pulling ahead again....
  21. Glad to see them doing well. VW needs to bring over Seat or Skoda, and undo not just diesel gate but 40 years of corporate baggage that VW has managed to create.
  22. I find it very stylish to live below my means, and I am by no means wealthy....from a style standpoint I would rather drive a 5 year old paid for car. Even if I was as wealthy as Mitt Romney or Kim Kardashian....
  23. I want to get a dog when my life settles down. I really want a Shih Tzu.....its calm disposition would work well for me. My friend had one....we used to take that dog for rides all of the time in my Miata...dog loved it...Rick was very well groomed....I have to wonder what people thought, two guys in a Miata with a a small dog.... All that aside, yes, a dog...I have had them before and loved them...both a golden alb and a black alb.... Cool...I am almost to the point of needing tires for the Jetta....but do not want to put $ into a car I will be selling back in a couple of months.
