  1. Just tell her its better than a seemingly endless turnover of mistresses. Chris
  2. Believe it or not, when I was 17, back in 1993, I was working at a summer camp in Indianapolis. There was a bright red 74 SD T/A, one owner, sitting for cheap on a downtown used car lot. I almost bought it, but didn't feel like giving up my 70 Chevelle that I was then driving. Voting for Reagan in '84 and not buying that car that July afternoon are the two things I regret most from my teenage years. I can still remember that car 26 years later...it had a Tan interior. How many 74 SD TA's came red with a tan interior? It may have been the only one. God what a car...I can remember the rumble of the V8 through the seat of my pants even today. Chris
  3. The really seductive GP's were those of the sixites. 67 GP Ragtop anyone? ...and I'm still a holdout for the 70's RWD cars, and the 80's Aerocoupes. Chris
  4. It was a very touching, emotional post for those of us who love(D) Pontiac and what it stood for. This is one of the best things I've read all week, and I agree 100 percent. Chris
  5. Nice work, Camino! Chris
  6. The Intrepid is about eleventy billion times better looking than the TL and the TSX also.... Keep US POSTED! Chris
  7. http://www.duramaxforum.com/forum/6-5l-die...-5l-w-pics.html Enjoy! Chris
  8. Take that 06 GTO to a dragstrip or an autocross and you'll love it even more. Great car! Chris
  9. ...and BTW I had a friend in College that had a two door version of that car in maroon. That was a NICE car. Chris
  10. Maybe that one owner is Marty McFly, and he has been hauling Doc Brown around in it. Perhaps it is the only one of its kind with gullwing doors? Chris
  11. Ohh....my....god..... I LOVE the 3.5, wonderful motor. Methinks I'll be jealous of the finished project, DF. And the pics in your sig look good! Chris
  12. I think they destroyed more F-body cars with Rockford than they did with Smokey and the Bandit. Seems to me like I remember one going off of a cliff IIRC. Also remember Eric Estrada had an early 70's Firebird in a similar color destroyed in an episode of "CHIPS" IIRC they put the Forks of all all-terrain forklift through it, amoung other things. Chris
  13. There was NO better looking car in the 1960's, IMHO. It's been 45 years since some of these cars were produced and I still have the hair stand up on my arms when I see one. Which is why I get depressed...even with the G8, the good days of Pontiac are gone forever. I really wish I could have had a 69-77 Grand Prix new off of the showroom floor. That would be wunderful! Chris
  14. +1 The rumors of VW as the worlds number one automaker may alas not be a cool-aide dream after all. The Camaro will probably be dead before I can get one...a sad day in mudville indeed. Chris
  15. Actually I'm paying off one car and trying to pay off the other. But hopefully if things get better I'll go 20K in debt and buy a nice Solstice GXP. Chris
  16. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eMQMgwouKlU Enjoy, Chris
  17. Yes, the julry is still out... Chris
  18. I doubt a beetle would float after 40 Pennsylvania winters, though. Glad to hear your Okay, BV. Maybe you could get a diesel for your next VW? Chris
  19. Sadly, pre-production prototypes are usually crushed, so the cars in the pics will meet a sad end. But the cars do look good! Chris
  20. +1 on the whole railroad thing. We are just retarded and backwards as a nation on this...which is one more reason I don't vote for particular people who won't support Amtrack. Chris
  21. hmmm...I've had the same thoughts, Viper. We had a real nice red one here that was low mile and pristine. If it hadn't been autotrajic I think I would have jumpd on it. Chris
  22. This is enough to make me move on the bus line. Ughhh. I know a lot of people here like the Accord coupe, but this is just horrible IMHO. But there is no accounting for taste, as I do like the Fit quite well, thank you. Chris
  23. I like it, Black is the untimate color for that bodystyle imho. Chris
