  1. Makes it seem even more ridiculous that there are a bunch of Cali loonies who are erecting billboards slamming Alberta for killing 500 ducks.
  2. Nope, haven't taken any courses... may be worth it in the future but I'm going to try to acquaint myself with the whole thing before I dive in.
  3. So I finally treated myself to a proper camera (Rebel 550D/T2i) and I've been just taking some random shots around town... figured I'd share a few of them here. ...and of course a few mildly edited shots of my car.
  4. Congrats to you and the wife on the new arrival
  5. Thought this was a neat picture to take- Buick Family Cruiser, then and now.
  6. Sorry to see you getting rid of the GP...
  7. Senior in High School...
  8. My main gripes about the Regal interior are that the steering wheel feels really awkward to hold and the interior in black doesn't have enough contrasting materials to really pop in my mind... That being said the Quality is AWESOME... I can't argue with that.
  9. My aunt and uncle drive a Fusion Sport and a F350 Crew Cab respectively... Yesterday I saw an expensive house in an expensive neighborhood with a 2003-05 W-Body Impala and a BMW Z4 in the driveway.
  10. Fixed that for you
  11. Here's a couple more I saw today...
  12. 1964 CdV in that ubiquitous Cadillac Silver-Gold-Green color, the name of which escapes me. Also since today is Canada Day- it's also the Maple Leaf Forever.
  13. My uncle just factory ordered up a brand new '11 F-350 4x4 King Ranch Crew Cab Diesel with every single option (Red/Tan two tone exterior), MSRP of 79'000$ CAD. This is just a year after my aunt ordered and received a new Red with Red and Black leather 2010 Fusion Sport 3.5L AWD with all the options but NAV.
  14. They added the MyLink package with USB stereo for the 2010 Model Year. As for the display, I have the same AM/FM/XM setup in my Impala and it's actually very intuitive for a non-NAV head unit- more than I can say for the units from Honda.
  15. ^This would be my #1 complaint about our Malibu Maxx. The chassis is just not good for ruts or NVH. Seems to crash really loudly and harshly over bumps (obviously more harsh than an Impala but surprisingly the Cobalt also handles ruts with more aplomb). Same with engine vibration- it can be felt thru the floor esp at mid-higher RPMs and speeds in excess of 70kph. I'd like to know if this is the case for this generation of Malibu as well.
  16. 16K in my pocket and any car I could choose- hmm. There really is only one. I'd pocket the change and take a nice vacation.
  17. I'd be checking the rear frame for some damage by the looks of that, so sorry to see that happen so soon.
  18. I don't think It's just you... I've got a great big Canadian Red Ensign pinned to the wall above my desk.
  19. Crap... hopefully it's not your Cobalt you just took delivery (!)
  20. Diet Coke... also not listed.
  21. Ford Classic: 1961-65 Lincoln Continental Modern: Ford Thunderbird "retrobird" hardtop GM goes without saying, very many choices here Chrysler Modern: Chrysler Crossfire Classic: 1961-63 Imperial LeBaron
  22. I'm going to go with Citroen as well
  23. I don't feel that much nostalgia for the car I was driving daily when this picture was taken (1997 Dahlia Blue Cavalier sedan). The cars that your family had as a kid are always the ones that you remember. I've been mulling a project car in the next few years and surprising close to the top of my list is a 1994-5 3800 Dustbuster like we had when I was little.
  24. 30km in 30mins each way.
  25. It's not the insert, it's the whole bumper. The insert looks like it's not one piece but rather tacked on but in reality it's all one piece. The sedan taillights are the same.
