  4. Sigh... Roberto, I already posted a WMJ birthday thread, at 6:56 this morning. "Terrible Twos".

  8. Can't you get in big trouble for posting this? Isn't there some kind of embargo? If I were you, I'd be watching out front to see if a black Excursion with dark windows rolls by very slowly.

  10. That's a badass looking Ram. I like how it takes up about 20 "compact car only" parking spaces.
  11. I really like the wheels.
  12. Hahaha, looks like a blast. Dude on stilts with your wife... costume inspired by Janet's Super Bowl outfit?
  13. *GASP* passes out What a painful, painful thought. He's my bestest friend!
  14. I was very comfortable in it. Pros: strong 3.9L engine smooth takeoff with manual excellent stereo quiet, solid ride styling in and out Cons: ripple in bodywork, driver's door, appears to have been repaired with Paintless Dent Repair method (Yes, I am conditioned to look at that stuff, it is second nature.) Used vehicle appraiser a thieving sonofabitch with a pisspoor attitude. I could hear him raising his voice to the old lady salesperson when she told him what I was hoping for in trade. "With forty thousand miles!? And a manual!?" Long faces of salespeople in general. I could not even get any of them to crack the slightest smile. Bottom line: my truck plus $4.2k down equals about $350/mo for 6 years, or about $30 more per month than the truck. I told her I'd call her monday, and I will, to turn it down, because of the (slight) damage and the crappy trade-in value. So, darn it. It's really a nice driving car. I love it.

  16. It would certainly compete very favorably to the BMW Z4 coupe and the Cayman. To differentiate the two Kappas, give the Solstice the teardrop fastback roof of the concept, and the Sky a shooting brake roofline, a la Nomad.
  17. Don't touch that! Stay away from there! Leave the dog alone! You hafta go potty? Again? :AH-HA_wink:
  18. James, welcome to the New World! And, good choice of vehicles. I'd love to be able to afford a little house on a couple of acres in the ####ry. But then I'd need a John Deere and a Bush Hog. Sounds like fun.
  19. US Epsilons have a telescoping steering column, I certainly hope I can get comfortable while banging off shifts. razor, your visual reminds me of when I was a little bitty boy trying to see over the steering wheel of a '71 Ford F-600, I looked like a spider monkey hanging onto that wheel while driving it around the farm. Harl, let's go. I do have to run some errands before we hit Rt. 30, however. :AH-HA_wink:

  21. Sorry son, you just need to get laid. Find yourself a hot chick to chase. :AH-HA_wink:

    Help!

I need to rent this movie. Balthy, you think the movie car is a '57? Now that you mention it, it may have been the more voluptuous '57 over the stubby '55. I think you may be right, but I am not certain. Damn my fuzzy memory.
  25. Maybe the simulator can't color the ground effects (which are overkill, imo). I agree with Toni. The backup lights would look better in the bumper on the production G6 (the last Grand Am had two sets of backup lights, one in the main lens, another in the bumper). That would allow for more distinct ribbing in the red taillight lenses. and I love the concept's exhaust treatment, although it may not be practical for production, since the exhaust needs to have its own rubber mounting system for engine torquing, etc. and probably could not be tightly mounted like to a bumper. A lot of the things people love about the concept just would not be practical for production. IMO, the concept was made to fit the production platform. A concept is made with almost no practical considerations, and I think Pontiac did a pretty good job in the translation.
