  1. I like McDonald's Crispy Asian Salad, if it's fresh. And I've been known to crave a McD's QPC meal, or a couple of 99c Double Cheeboogas. nothing beats a homemade burger though.
  2. Happy Birthday, mofo!
  3. What brand of muffler bearing do you guys carry?

    Pictures!

76CT: wow, I can see the pride in your eyes when you hold your little daughter. Very nice pics, sir. Custom-S, I have to agree with your wife. :AH-HA_wink:

  6. The tree doesn't look the least bit concerned. One thing seems odd... if the car was going really fast (and the damage supports that), why didn't it fly further down the road after the impact? It seems to have stopped very short. The G-forces on that driver must have been tremendous, making his survival even more miraculous, imo.
  7. That actually looks like fun, but I bet that tractor stopped that ATV in its tracks when he let the clutch out. Ah, reminds me of my days growing up on the farm.
  8. I've been happy with my Sierra this winter. Between the Fortera tires and G80 locker, it's been fine. Yes, I have to be judicious with the gas pedal, but I am grateful for the fact I can steer with it. With FWD, I would lose steering control much sooner, a safety hazard, imo. Just continue to be careful and anticipatory, and you should be fine. Enjoy that GTO.
  9. I paid $2.49 yesterday for regular.
  10. That's one sexy car. I love the rims, the center blackout makes it appear to have a "floating" effect. Sweet. And the interior, with the red stripe on the seats, continuing onto the steering wheel rim, a nice marker for the driver. Yes, it does have FWD proportions. If GM brings this to production as an AURA coupe, they will go even further toward making Saturn a real aspirational brand. With ASTRA coming online, they'll already be there. This thing would be some sweet icing on the cake.
  11. As we saw this summer with the plunge in large SUV sales, the market is the best way to determine product mix. CAFE standards should stay where they are. We should not punish manufacturers for building what the public wants, and this proposal would be disastrous for the domestic 3. In European and Asian home markets, conditions are vastly different than they are here. Can you imagine Toyota trying to sell a Tundra in Tokyo? Or even Honda a Ridgeline? It wouldn't happen, but they have spent a lot of money developing tiny cars for their packed urban domestic market areas. These CAFE proposals would be so much easier for the Asian brands to meet, but difficult even for them due to our market demands.
  12. Very handsome, inside and out. It makes me geek on an entry-level Saturn again, like I did with the ION QC. I can't wait to see these on the lots.
  13. I've seen some pretty incredible photos of other VW/Audi vehicles, a Beetle and a TT, that amazed me with the damage they sustained while saving the lives of their passengers.
  14. She's lookin' good, z. Sweet sill plates, too!
  15. Wow, that spoiler and those taillights look good. At least the taillights have horizontal elements.

  18. Man, I haven't seen 4 leaves like this since... the 1987 Chevy K10 pickup! :AH-HA_wink: So, let us know what you're seeing out there. I saw my first Tadpole on the road (bleh, some dummy), and we got an '08 Mariner, silver. Not a bad package, but silver just dint grab me.
  19. dead end
  20. Yeah, like the gorgeous concept.
  21. Yupper, they said the Atomic Tadpole wasn't as strong a value as the Chevrolet. It wasn't worth the extra money. And they said GM's mechanical G80 locking diff was more effective at getting the power to the ground than the Japanese truck's fancy electronic traction control nanny. They found Toyota's pricing scheme to be sneaky, I guess you cannot get the weak 4.7L midrange V8 in the trim level tested, which put the Tadpole like $4000 higher than the sweet Silverado.
  22. Don't they have much fewer emissions controls over there, for example, I thought I read where they run leaded gas and have no catalytic converters, etc. Probably not enough to free up 40 hp, just wondering.
  23. "Just you and your hand tonight..." Drew, when you're ready, you'll find someone who'll make you forget these gray days. Just Keep on Truckin', sir.
