  1. I'd love to have an Ariel Atom....it would be a blast on the weekends...make a fun commuter car also.
  2. My most recent ex did, but preferred kosher.
  3. Interesting...but this is much cooler.. KTM X-Bow
  4. Kind of... it's a Wrangler Unlimited for suburbia..'born to be mild'.
  5. Yeah, it is novel...whether it will sell or not is another story. Why not a Caddy SRX convertible? More importantly, though, is a CTS convertible...what with the 3-series convertible, the CLK convertible, G37 and A5 convertibles on the way, Cadillac needs to follow up the CTS coupe with a CTS convertible..
  6. Yes...but this is a novelty variation...they have the regular Murano for the storage part.
  7. I went to my 20th last month in Marathon, Fl... we didn't have a very big turnout for the 10th, so this was really the first time alot of us had seen each other since June 1988. It was a good weekend..some sadness---8 deceased out of a class of 64... a few people that were couples are still together w/ kids 20 years later. A couple people looked almost unchanged, most looked older...some of the jocks were still fit, some had chubbed up, people that a full head of hair back in the day were bald/balding, some of the hotties from '88 aren't so hot now, a few are now definitely MILFs and DMILFs.. one pair of guys are now a gay couple, whom a lot suspected back in the day... some of the biggest stoners from then are now cops and teachers. Probably 40% are still in Florida, I had the 3rd longest trip besides the lawyer from LA and the guy in Hawaii...about 5 live in Colorado now besides me. Only a couple of us (myself included) still have our cars from then (though I didn't drive mine to the reunion, since it's in Ohio and I'm in AZ). Lots of talk of what people did after high school, marriages, kids, careers, moves, etc.. It was a weekend of sitting around the bars/restaurants and at the beach drinking and reminicing about the old days..and the realization that alot of what went on 20 years ago would result in a lot of kids getting arrested if it were to happen today. Looser times then than now, I think. It was sad to see my high school is gone, all the old single story buildings on the campus torn down and replaced w/ modern 3 story hurricane proof buildings...looks like blue prison buildings now, with security doors, tiny windows, etc.
  8. Yeah..sadly, it's FWDness is all too apparent by the short front wheelwell to door distance...totally innapropriate for a Caddy.
  9. WOW...that is slick. I love the rear detailing and how the edges of the hidden rack look like fins.
  10. Cool..that's first I've seen of it.. wonder what it will be named in NA.
  11. Yep...if I still had mine, I'd probably drive it now... '84 diesel...nicknamed 'esky'.
  12. plot
  13. Who knows? Haven't heard anything certain about the Aura or G6 futures...
  14. What are those funky 'S'es in your name?
  15. A friend of mine who is a big Star Wars fan uses the handle Lord Vader on various forums and has Vader as part of one of his emails... he tried to get the personalized license plate VADER for his black on black NSX but found it was taken in Colorado..
  16. That one is odd..I've heard rumors of it several times, but no concept or spy pics have been seen yet...wonder if it's going to be a surprise at one of the major 09 shows..
  17. Could be..haven't seen anything concrete about it yet.
  18. tome
  19. Just thinking what is definitely coming between now and the end of next year... Buick: 2010 LaCrosse Cadillac: 2010 CTS coupe 2010 CTS wagon 2010 SRX Chevy: 2009 Traverse 2010 Camaro 2010 Equinox 2010 Cruze (or is it coming for '11 for NA?) GMC: 2010 Terrain (Torrent replacement) HUMMER: 2009 H3 pickup (out now or soon?) Pontiac: 2009 G8 GXP 2010 G8 ST 2009 Solstice Targa SAAB: 2010 9-4x 2010 SAAB 9-5 (or '11 MY?) Missing anything?
  20. Theta Epsilon and Theta Premium are names that have bounced around the internets, but who (outside of GM) knows the reality of what the platform is called, or what is distinct about it? Unibody, 4 wheel IRS, FWD, AWD...
  21. From what I've heard, '09 or '10 is the last year for the Panthers. Still unclear what they are going to do beyond that for the fleet and police (CV) market. I suppose the Taurus and MKS will be Ford's largest civilian models, supposedly the Sable is going away after '09.
  22. Given the JVs they have coming up, I wouldn't be surprised at a bigger Renault-Nissan-Chrysler tie up down the road..
  23. No idea, but I'm assuming Chevy ultimately won out since they were the biggest division, biggest # of sales, and the sheer # and ubiquity of SBCs over the decades..
  24. Yes...I'm looking forward to seeing it in person...certainly is a unique model right now..
  25. Since it's car based and probably will get mileage similar to the Camry, they probably decided it will likely do better than truck based SUVs or regular CUVs...it really is just a Camry tall wagon.
