  1. That's just the US marketing slogan...in Europe, it's more of the Korean Revolution brand.
  2. Well, in Europe, Chevrolet is a Korean Revolution...it's line is former Daewoos..
  3. My Ray Ban sunglasses case would fit in there with my cell phone, looks like. I wonder if it's sloped downward inside so said stuff wouldn't fly out.
  4. Speaking of all things poop, I had an adventure last night..was up washing sheets and a comforter at midnight because Diarrhea Dog jumped in my bed. Amazing how much a 10lb dog can poo..
  5. A good friend of mine's wife (tiny 5'0" Japanese-American lady from Hawaii) had a lot of fun stories about almost getting crushed by the doors on her first car, a '76 Grand Prix..... she drove an '88 Coupe De Ville for years, traded it on a Volvo XC70 a few years ago.
  6. I drove a Town Car to my 10th high school reunion back in '98.... they are my favorite rental car. I love the old school style.
  7. If I bought a Prius, I'd feel like a sellout...my friends and coworkers would all applaud my choice, but I'd feel dirty. Therefore, I should by a Town Car..it's kind of the anti-Prius. But my Dad didn't buy his first Lincoln until he was 56, so I'm still a bit young for one..
  8. Here's an article from the WSJ about the $500 million investment in Lordstown. Good news for my home region... GM To Invest $500mil in Lordstown
  9. An '08 Suburban for 50% off sticker?
  10. Saw another HHR panel..this one was bright red, with some large stamp like graphics that said 'Local Delivery'. Cool.
  11. I've always liked the style of J30...had to look it up, forgot it was RWD. It was styled by Jerry Hirschberg, who for some reason, I thought was previously with Pontiac, maybe in the '80s.
  12. I find the Infiniti G37 coupe appealing as it is... I'd like to see Lexus make a coupe version of the IS. Looking forward to seeing the G37 convertible. I'd like to have the GT-R for a weekend on Ohio backroads, it would be a lot of fun, I think..out of my price range, though.
  13. Yes, the profile of the 2dr Cobalt strongly resembles the Cavalier..the 4dr less so. I'd like to see Chevy bring back the chrome bowties with the blue inset.
  14. Yes, these aren't like prototype photos...they look like a production version...
  15. I suspect in a year or so we will see it on CNN---Massachusetts man on rampage vandalizing Chevy dealers throughout New England--breaks into dealers and with a Sawzall or Jaws of Life tool cuts out the B-pillars of the 2010 Camaros in stock, as an act of his 'Hardtop Liberation Front'..
  16. Now, now..68..take your meds and relax. B-pillars are GOOD..they provide strength and safety.
  17. At lunch today, came back down an unfamiliar side street..saw a mid '80s Omni GLH--black, Shelby decal across the windshield, the 'bowling ball with a lot of holes' wheels....in good shape with all it's Big 80s kitschy charm. In the driveway across the street was a clean lt blue-green late '70s Lincoln Continental coupe.
  18. With the arched roofline and side creases and fender arches, if it had a a quarter window instead of the lame black plastic behind the rear door, the side profile would almost be Audi-esque, like a sedan version of the A3 might look...
  19. 68, you probably should watch what you post..even joking about acts of terrorism will get you a one-way ticket to Gitmo...I'm sure DHS is monitoring these forums...
  20. It will be interesting to see what other bodystyles come..the taillights remind me a bit of the Euro Civic sedan. I assume for the US there will a coupe and probably hatchbacks and a wagon for other markets. Looks like it will be competitive. A solid design.
  21. The curve of the hood dipping into the light cluster looks a bit odd in the head-on view...makes it look angry and aggro, which is what they were trying to achieve, I think..interesting that the bar with the bowtie is set so high in the grille rather than centered.
  22. Yeah, what's up with that? It's going to be built in the US, but shipped to Europe? Seems odd...I would think they would be building it in Europe as well..
  23. A google turned up a pic of a rim with a trim ring that kind of looked like an '80s S-10/Blazer wheel..don't know if that is accurate, it looks like camaroz28.com has pics, but they require registration to view them
  24. I definitely liked the espresso bars in Italy...even more so, I loved the patisseries in France and the UK...a big cafe au lait, a baguette with cheese and bacon....mmmmmm..
